MarkMc44
Remember in 2011 when Sean Payton and Drew Brees poured it on to set the single season passing record against us? It sure would be great if Julio could get the receiving record next Sunday! GO FALCONS!!!!!
Jesus
He needs a monster day. Like one of the best ever.
Duff_Man
He needs a monster day. Like one of the best ever.He would need 242 yards to tie the record of 1,964 yards in a season. It would be the 35th highest ever in a game in NFL history. Flipper Anderson has the record with 336 yards in a game.
etherdome
Go for

Kaptain Krazy
how about just getting the win? Julio doesnt care about records. ^^this^^i would love to see Julio get two TDs, to give him double digits. But with an average day for Julio, he'll finish with the most receptions and receiving yards for the season. Beating the Saints is the primary goal. mar31985
It would be a great ending to the season to beat the Saints, end the year on a three game win streak, and have Julio break a record
MarkMc44
Just a thought. I think most would enjoy rubbing s**t in the Saints faces..... GO FALCONS!!!!!
g-dawg
It is not likely that Julio sets reception or receiving record and we don't need to force that in any way. If it is 4th qtr and we are up and it is close, then sure.Frankly, I hope Julio's numbers come down some next year. We are overusing him and we are going to get him injured by asking him to do too much. Falcons not only need to be balanced between run/pass splits but it would be better if Julio's targets came down some as well - we need other seapons at #2 WR and TE. Monolith2001
I would love for JJ to get one or both records but he is a bit too far away to make it playing a normal football game. There is always next year. Focus should be getting the W to complete the season. We beat the Panthers by getting all of our receivers involved...something that we have failed to do almost all season. Spreading the ball around may make it more difficult for JJ to get his records but had we done that more this season, we are probably still playing after next week. DonDaLuvMaker
He'll contend to break them both again next season.
AndySG
How many yards did he get against Green Bay last year?Almost killed him.
Dirtybird56
How many yards did he get against Green Bay last year?Almost killed him.259. Saints pass D is poor, it's a possibility he breaks the record but more likely he goes for 150 and a TD which still puts him at like 1870 yards, a ridiculous number

I give lengthy responses
Give him 22 catches to break Brandon Marshall's single game record while we're at it.

g-dawg
We're using Julio too much? LOL!! That's so silly.140 receptions and 1,900yds receiving is not sustainable over 4-5 year period - As an NFL team, you don't want your offense to be so dependent on a superstar to that degree that is not a QB.I am not saying "don't use your superstar and don't feature him" - but ultimately I think we need more balance - not only in run/pass but across your receiving and tight end corps as well. With a more balanced receiving corps and running game, Julio would still probably easily get about 120 receptions, 1,500yds and 10TDs per year. MilleniumFalcon
Give him 23 targets like Antonio Brown got last month against the Raiders, he caught like 17 passes for 290 yards or something ridiculous. A couple deep shots and all those targets should get the job done.
