sandtrap
If Roddy White isn't one of the guys coming out of that tunnel I will be throughly disappointed in this franchise. Listening to him on the coaches show really epitomizes why folks love Roddy so much. He helped build that stadium and he sure as **** will be in the ring of honor. He's a Falcon for life and if Rich McKay did one thing right, it was drafting Sharod Lamor Roddy White. I don't care what our record is. Love the fact that he says what's on his mind. Roddy White for President.
SaintsH8
Yeah he's my favorite player and definitely deserves to be out there.

OBXFalcon
Love the guy but that's two seasons away! He has regressed a lot the last two years and if he is coming out of that tunnel when we play our home opener in 2017 at MB stadium I hope he is in street clothes or we could be in for another long year. hjerry
With Hankerson out of here, I'd really like to see him take a pay cut and stick around for at least one more season, so we can add some more young WRs around Julio.
sandtrap
Don't care if he's our 5th WR. It's about more than wins and losses and stats to me. Roddy has been with this team through thick and thin. If you've been a fan long enough you've seen him grow into a man while wear the red and black. He deserves it. He's earned it. FalconFanSince1969
I'd put a large amount of money on that not happening.
PokerSteve
Roddy can be maddening with his trash talking, but he's made a lot of good catches for the Falcons. I think he's got at least one more season of football in him, but beyond that I'm not at all sure he would be assured of a roster spot based on loyalty or past performance. And looking at it as a business-first industry, once your value decreases to a certain level, your presence can no longer be justified on the roster. I'd be very surprised if he were here in 2017. Mega Flare
Roddy will be retired.

Godzilla1985
I think he needs to retire a Falcon period. His cap number is chump change.
esmithidoc
Love me some Roddy, but he, of all people, understands the business of football. He held out (although in a pretty benign way) to get a contract extension, now he will be let go when he is no longer worth that big salary. putnam6
Roddy's one of my all time Falcons with Andrews,Tuggle,Deion etc.Don't know if Roddy makes it to 2017 in Atlanta, but certainly he can hang on at a reduced salary in 2016 and see what happens. Right now Hardy is the only possible candidate. Don't see the Falcons going top tier FA wide receiver or a high draft pick no way Coleman or Doctson are there later. Roddy had bad timing having a new offense and Ryan's struggles right as he physically started to drop off.
CraigSmackDaddy
Could possibly see Roddy put in the ROH for the opening game. I imagine he'll play 1 more season and retire.
Leggggggo
Here's a slightly different take...Julio has credited Roddy with teaching him how to be the professional he is today (at least once he entered the NFL). If Roddy can't cut it on the field, I could see the Falcons offering him the WR coaches job or something of the sort. He's got the skill set to teach developing players, and he is a life long Falcon. Rise
..At this rate....Ryan, Julio, Hageman, Trufant, Durant, Reed, TD, DQ, and Pioli might not be there...The roster and regime may be symbolic of a new era for a new building.I see the division belonging to The Panthers for the next few years... Probably they will rule the roost. I just dread the thought of Cam running around the Dome Sunday as the game draws to a close and 20,000 Panther fans screaming their heads off. Wouldn't an upset be nice?
