Yeah, I was just looking at it and that's what I see too:

Falcons must win out

Vikings must lose out

Seahawks must lost out

All 3 would be 9-7, so it's a 3 way tie and head-to-head doesn't apply. The next tie-breaker is conference record. If the above happened, all 3 would be tied at a 6-6 conference record.

Next tie breaker is "strength of victory".

ESPN has this stat in their playoff rankings. Right now it is...

Vikings - .402

Falcons - .392

Seahawks - .369

If all of the above happened and we kept that advantage in strength of victory, the Falcons and Vikings would be the wild cards.

Actually Seattle is in. They've clinched according to the onscreen graphics.

We play Carolina. Pretty sure our strength of schedule will be higher than theirs due to playing an undefeated team, twice.

Since we will get stomped, this "chance" is nothing more than anecdotal. We're out. Sea and Min are in.

Yep in all likelihood we are not going to the playoffs. I haven't even been thinking about the playoffs, but wanted to point out mathematically we are still in contention

Giants are eliminated? They can finish 8-8. Skins and Eagles can both finish 7-9. Don't know how Giants would be eliminated.

The Giants are eliminated because the Eagles and Redskins are playing each other next week, that would be the 8th win for one of them and I believe they both have tiebreakers over the Giants.

If Eagles lose tonight they'll be 6-8, just like the Giants. Then they play Washington, if they win, go 7-8. Then Giants and Eagles play, Giants win Vikes before that and then win Eagles, add to that Skins losing to Cowboys, Giants are in the playoffs at 8-8.

Hmm. My math didn't add up then. The Giants chances of all that happening are pretty slim. They're in the same boat as the Falcons with that regard then.
