This is the clip of Matt Ryan's presser when he is asked about Kyle. Anyone here know how to tell if he is a liar or not?

They might have a good relationship and are cool with each other. But you can tell with that smile he isn't really feeling the offense in general. He is telling the truth that there are some things players have to do better but I think He knows a lot of it is shanahan and he's trying to make the most out of it.

Look, the plays called by Shanahan, if executed perfectly every time, would produce a TD.......every time.

The fact is and has been forever that we have a below mediocre roster......more like pathetic. We have very few or no playmakers. Both sides of the ball.

If this was a court of law instead of a football franchise TD would be jailed.

PURE GARBAGE players.

End of story.

Matt's about as stoic as they get when it comes to dealing with the media. It's very very difficult to tell imo. I still think it's very possible that there really isn't any chemistry between the two. I could be totally wrong and have been before. Ultimately the only indication we will get will come from the off season moves. One way or another, this organization has to fix this offense. Period.

Based on his face and body language, I do not think he is lying. (Now, I am not The Freakin Mentalist. Just pretty good as a layperson at reading people, so take it FWIW).

But notice what he said. He quickly got the "I have a good relationship with Kyle" part over with, and then moved on to something that is so obviously true that it would of course ring true to the listeners -- that he and the players need to play better.

So he minimized the time spent talking about the relationship with Kyle. He probably doesn't want to actually *murder* Kyle, so what he said is true. He said the safest true thing he could and then quickly changed the subject to a safer topic.

He probably practiced exactly that, so that he can keep private business private (and that private business includes whether or not he believes in Shanny's offense).

Wow. That is a real answer there. Thanks. I kind of threw this out there expecting goofy answers, but yours is legit. Thanks man.

You don't need to ask him that question- just watch his play behind center....

but for all of you arm chair interrogators here's the rule for NLP:

Eyes up- memory recall

Eyes down right- something unknown

I'm just waiting for him to start blinking his eye lids in morse with the letters T_O_R_T_U_R_E

Usually you have to ask a person a series of questions and have them intentionally lie on certain questions. They will still subconsciously do something different than when telling the truth. He avoided eye contact but that could've just been him looking at other reporters.

It's heart breaking watching that highlight video in your sig. So many past players that are not here anymore and how good they once were for the Falcons.

When you're 5-0 & on top with a new regime, do you really want some punk saying, "our 1st option is always Julio"???? What an A$$!! This is the NFL...& if Quinn doesn't have the "you know what" to dump him after this league embarrassment we have here...he must go too! Whizz or even June Jones III would do well here! NO MORE players or coaches hired anymore from those whose fathers used to be in the NFL...should we start that list??? ie. Mckay, Mora, TD, Baker, Shanahan.....Mathews?? the jury is out on him
