momak
He is our best player but with no Oline and no defense we will never be a real contenderIf so what could we get for him?Maybe there will be a desperate GM to think that all they need is an explosive WR to put their team over hump. marvinthemartian
A GM who would trade away a king's ransom for one explosive receiver? Naaaaa no GM would be that stupid. No, wait.....never mind.
sdogg
Do like the Braves. Burn this crap down and start all over. We are just treading water.
LiquidFalcon
Nah we need Julio til that stadium opens, than after that this team will pinch the pennies and gut itself. Plus if Detroit can waste 2 hall of fame players careers we can waste 1 guys.

RS91
No OL lol. Aside from Person they have played perfectly fine this season. We definitely need an upgrade at center, but the last thing this team needs to do is trade one of its two playmakers on offense when we have a QB who cannot carry his team and make average players look like Pro Bowlers. HEIST
Matt needs as many great receiving options as we can get so as long as Matt's on the team we have to have Julio and also we need to invest heavily in WR/TE over the next couple of seasons. momak
Got your flamesuit on?Nope flame away happy to see people views on this topic.Do we build around a super star WR or trade him away for a defense + Oline pieces? Also TD wouldn't do it but if he is fired and a new GM comes in promising to make major changes im sure this is one option that will be considered. No one was expecting the Saints to trade Graham,
uup115
We consider trading Matt Ryan before trading Julio Jones. We would get more for Ryan and we paid less for him. Our expectated rate of return would be better but Ryan would be harder to replace.
Sun Tzu 7
I'd rather see Matt Ryan traded than Julio. If you trade Ryan then you might as well trade Julio because you're wasting him and might as well get something for him while you can. Do any of the teams that are continually in the playoffs have a receiver like Jones? Why are they always in the playoffs? They need an elite receiver to score points, right? Absolutely notIf some GM offered me a couple firsts I'd take the deal. I'd also check the market and keep the phone lines open to let other GM's know we're open for business if they're interested in other players. In a sense, I'd John Hart/John Coppolella this bitchh
Oh4Real?!
No need to insult anyone just let us know the reason you think trading Julio is out of the question 1. He's literally the life of the entire offense.2. He just got a brand new contract and the cap penalty would hurt like ****.3. Best WR in the league. 4. Great character, no nonsense type player who puts winning before ANYTHING.The sum it up, he's a rare talent who I would say took a team friendly contract when he's worth Megatron type money. Guest facelessman07
I agree. I would listen to offers... This team is deficient in depth.I agree. I would listen to offers... This team is deficient in depth. Then as GM I'd troll the boards after trading away favorite players without being fearful of banishmentIn short, I'd filter out the reactionary fansSometimes the herd needs a little "thinning." Big Bubba
No. A dominant #1 WR is needed in order to win. Ask the Lions with Megatron, the Cardinals a few years ago with a young Fitz. The Broncos and Bears with Brandon Marshall. The current Jags with their two stud WRs.

Maybe we need to add another dominant #1 receiver to become even more explosive. We might even score 6 points when we play the Panthers next year. That's a huge percentage increase from our grand total of ZERO POINTS today
