Yea even the announcers said they were bad calls, if not for the refs we would have only lost like 21-0

Only 21-0?

Whew, what a relief

It'll get over shadowed because we looked like a pop warner team vs a real NFL team today but it was a horribly officiated game. The Olsen catch/fumble was by rule an incomplete pass. Newton failed to get the ball to the LOS on two throw away passes with no one in the area, Keuchly hit Freeman out of bounds with two feet on the sideline, the laughable spot on the Newton run up the middle, the Ginn pushoff, Schraeders unnecessary roughness call, Norman held and pass interfered on a play against Jones....I think that covers it. lol

I was only able to watch the game on a few breaks at work. But for those who watched it did the announcers talk about the officiating calls at all?

That 4th and 1 call looked blatant as fawk.

Just curious..

They talked about the bad calls & how the offense is all wrong for this group & how Carolina didn't break a sweat in the game.

The league? You think the refs called somebody to ask if they were allowed to reverse the call?

No, I just think that by default some teams just never get the calls. We're one of those teams. Wouldn't have mattered today as it turned out, but it still doesn't explain why some of the spots/calls/no calls don't pass the eye test.
