Quest
Our playoff hopes just cracked open a little bit wider with that loss tonight by Minnesota. Now assuming we upset Carolina and Seattle beats Baltimore on Sunday we'd be 2 games behind Minnesota for the 6th seed in the WC race. I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but stranger things have happened. It's time for us to go to work! #RiseUp. And for those who are curious... Minnesota's final 3 games are NYG,CHI,and GB. They could easily lose 2/3.

Falconsfan567
Why would we need Seattle to beat Baltimore? Shouldn't that be the other way around since Seattle is in the NFC?
Quest
Why would we need Seattle to beat Baltimore? Shouldn't that be the other way around since Seattle is in the NFC?Well if you look at schedules there is no way in he!! Seattle loses 2/4 in these finals weeks to propel us in assuming we go 4-0 down the stretch. Seattles remaining opponents will all be picking top 10 in the draft. (CLE,BAL,and STL) The only game they have left that is respectable is ARZ, but they'll be resting up for a run. So the Vikes hold our key until proven otherwise. FalconFanForLife
There is optimism, and then there is delusional.Like Mora Sr said: "Playoffs? We just want to win a game"This miserable team is totally capable of losing out the remainder of the season. Don't underestimate their ability to do whatever it takes to set some sort of NFL record in that regard. TifosiMW
Regardless of how bad we are, anyone who doesn't want the team to win and make the playoffs isn't really a fan. I hope we can catch all the breaks. I don't really care about football if the Falcons aren't doing well, and I don't care at all after they've been eliminated. And look, I love my Falcons as much as anybody (I'm a lifer), but there ain't no way in heii we make the Playoffs this year. In my opinion, we'll be lucky to win another game --- maybe, Jax or the Aints. So, if we lose Sunday, I'm pretty much packing it in 'til next year. Oh, I'll still watch the games, since I'm a hard-core Falcon fan, butit will strictly be for the entertainment value (if you can call it that)... RunningThePiszOuttaTheBall
I don't want us in the playoffs this year. It would only mean getting crucified in the first game because we have no business being in the postseason. I'd rather our players sit home where they belong and let us get a higher draft pick so we can return to being an NFL caliber team one day. MAD597
Are you nuts? Why are we talkin playoffs? We are a horrible team, their is no point in us going to the playoffs. This is not a scrappy team that will give a contender trouble. We are broken we are incapable of producing a threatening offense and our defense is always put in bad spots. This is a team that is much better off getting a better draft pick than getting physically and morally destroyed in the first round.

TheRealGritz
Doesn't Minn currently have the NFC North? Aren't they ahead of GB? You are assuming Minn gets the wild card and GB wins that division. . . . what if it is the other way around?
kelvin31063
I'd be all for us going to the playoffs if I thought we'd make noise there. Get this draft pick and hopefully not fail at getting a pass rush for the millionth time.
