ATLFalcon36
Yeh its the time of year where our record is terrible and playoff hopes are melting away... So time to put on our Madden GM hats and play hypotheticals to keep ourselves sane.http://nfltraderumors.co/2016-nfl-free-agents-list/ Yes this list is going to change drastically but some of these guys will hit the market.First and foremost, the SECOND FA opens we need to call up Bruce Irvin and get it done. Beasley may actually be able to get work done if we have Irvin too.At LB getting Derrick Johnson on a short deal.At safety if Eric Berry or Weddle hit the market Blank better brush off his Bones' frequent diner cards. On OL would be amazing if we could land Osemele or Yanda if Baltimore doesn't re-sign both, Wisnewski frm JAX at center..Obviously we can't get all of them even if they all hit the market, but if we could snag 2-3 on reasonable deals with a big splash being an Eric Berry or Yanda, then go MLB, WR, OG in the draft. A-TowN.-
These are the best likely FA in my opinionAlex Mack, OC ClevelandKelechi Osemele, OG BaltimoreJR Sweezy, OG SeattleStefen Wisniewski, OC JacksonvilleGeorge Iloka, SS CincinnatiTony Jefferson, SS Arizona (RFA)Vinny Curry, DE PhiladelphiaJacquies Smith, DE Tampa BayOlivier Vernon, DE MiamiDerek Wolfe, DL DenverMalik Jackson, DL DenverDerrick Johnson, LB Kansas CityBruce Irvin, LB SeattleMarvin Jones, WR Cincinnati Rishard Matthews, WR MiamiKamar Aiken, WR BaltimoreThe bolded ones are who I want the most. Think we really need to grab a SS, WR, LB, and a DL in FA. Cincinnati and Miami are in tough situations with their cap room, Miami because they don't have much and Cincinnati because they have so many people to resign. This is a bad SS class in my opinion, same with DE so we must grab one of each in FA. SS - Would love Tony Jefferson because Arizona has a stacked Safety core but they will likely tender and match any offers. George Iloka is just an great player too, he's almost a priority at the right price though. DL - Derek Wolfe and Malik Jackson would be nice additions and I doubt they can keep both especially with Von Miller. Olivier Vernon may not be able to be retained in Miami, and he would help out tremendously. He and Vinny Curry would be great for us and Curry will likely be cheap. OG - We must sign Kelechi Osemele at all costs, he's a great player and would fit our scheme perfectly. LB - Bruce Irvin, I mean I like the guy but he's not a priority guy for me. He will be 29 halfway through next season. Derrick Johnson, another older guy but he's still playing amazing. Might command too much money though. 1989Fan
I think there are 2 things our D sorely needs. 1) a dominating pass rusher (hoping Beasley can become that) 2) A dominating ATHLETE @ MLB, like Kuechly, Wagner, etc. (Travathan is not in the same level as those guys, but could be a major improvement for us there.) If Osemele or Yanda hit the market Blank better send his jet for them the second FA opens, full of world-class steak and drinks.
ThemDarnFalconsBoy!
Bruce Irvin already let it be known that he wants to play for Quinn, so let's honor his wish... He's an older guy but we could use someone like him who has had success to show the others how it's done... Plus he should already be familiar with Quinn and his system and will be a valued asset and instant leadership on a defense that sorely needs it. Let's give him an incentive based contract though and not blow it all up front.I don't care what it costs we need to bring Alex Mack here... We need a center desperately. Olivier Vernon is also a must sign! I think him and Beasley on the edge would be disruptive along with Irvin... That would be great! Edited December 7, 2015 by ThemDarnFalconsBoy! 1989Fan
Keep realistic thoughts or Irvin. He said I want to play for Quinn, but in the wrold of athletes, that means " I want to play for Quinn as long as he pays me as much as the other guy will."This is his first veteran contract, and he will be 29. He isnt going to leave money on the table, nor should he.I would take him if it meant Reed going to MLb and Irvin or Beasley playing SLB.That said, I would rather we left Reed at SLB, signed Danny Travathan for MLB, and drafted a WLB in th first two rounds. 1989Fan
Well, like half our our lines are free agents after the year. That and they basically suck.Person is still signed, but should only compete at G.Schreader is UFA, I hope he is re-signed. Good RT.Chester is UFA...good bye! Upgrade RG.We have Matthews and Levitre basically set to come back, and Person who isnt a lock as a starter. On the DL, beasley should be moved to SLB, Clayborn and Schofield are UFA. Babs is a ? If he will be retained. Jackson should be released. Goodman is irrelevent. We have Soliai, Hageman, Jarrett as guys I would count on returning. I do think we resign Clayborn and Schofield though. I was pretty vocal about hoping we'd draft him, and then again when Philly was dangling him as trade bait the past two seasons. The guy is a pass rushing monster when used properly. I really would love to see him on this team.

Bobby.Digital
Yanda is already signed. If we can sign a few of these guys I'll be excited: Eric Berry, George Iloka, Bruce Irvin, Danny Treveathen, Derek Wolfe, Keleche Osemele, Ladaruis Green, Dwyane Allen, Coby Fleener, Alex Mack, and Oliver Vernon. I'm probably forgetting someone. But any combination of those guys will be a big help.

FalconofShadows
I kinda like the idea of moving Brooks Reed to MLB get Irvin as SLB or to have Beasley become the SLB. then we would need to draft/sign WLB DE SS DT on Defense then LG RG C WR TE for offense
zzfrow
Crabtree will be resigned by Oakland IMO, but if we are talking about another young WR to help out Julio, then I like Marvin Jones in Cincinnati. He is still young and he actually has decent hands. Just needs to work on his routes a little bit, but he could work under the tutelage of Julio and become a more complete wide out. Jackson and Curry are good pass rushers and that is what we need almost much as a decent right guard and center.
