Jesus
The defense is much approved. The offense is the problem. Each of these loses put the team in a place to win. Cutting Quinn because of the D is a bad idea.

4dabirds
I say we fire Dan Quinn, and hire Sean Payton if he gets shown the door.

CraigSmackDaddy
Loved Smitty but you guys are ridiculous. It was time for him to go.I'll say this, I won't be mad if we fire Shannahan and bring in an OC who is willing to run a similar offense to Dirk. Don't care if he run a ZBS or not. Quinn was with Seattle 2010. It takes time. The 5-0 had us all happy but things happened and we are where we are. This is team is in a bad funk and I do not see them getting out. Need another purge in the offseason. Need an influx of talent but Quinn will have to choose between Ryan and Shanahan. No matter what I think TD is gone. Jesus
We don't need Koetters offense. Ryan needs an offense like what Gase run/ran in Chicago and Denver or what Brady has. We have too many weapons for the bad playcalling to sputter out.
Herr Beast
Ask Qunn nicely if he would accept a demotion to DC (he can keep bis salary) and hire someone as HC who has any qualities being the leader of a football team.
Romfal
So, not even a full calendar year to get his guys in to fit his scheme and develop the guys he's already brought in?I have no problem with developing. I just see the same thing over and over. Even Ricardo Allen said on the coaches show last week that they run the same plays even if the offense knows them because they want to win with just execution. Now that the season is officially over maybe we will see some changes.

Quinn doesn't make the decision between his franchise QB and OC. Blank will make it clear Ryan stays. OC's are never picked over franchise QBs. Wow very specific, what a freaking genius! I can't believe we haven't thought of that before. Quinn is a great leader, unlike some of you soft cry babies who would throw their team to the wolves in a heart beat. Quinn is a leader, he had this talentless team overachieving and winning at first, and people like you were no where to be found. He doesn't put blame on any player like you guys do and he wants this team to play as a band of brothers. Brothers don't turn their backs on one another and they don't give up which half of you seem to do at the first sign of adversity. "I hope Quinn pulls a Petrino", really? This is how low we have gotten? You guys are a freaking joke.

Oh wait. Bills have way more talent across the board and he is underachieving as most Bills fans could tell you. What brilliant freaking logic. Sobeit
Some of you fans over react more than any female I've ever met.Problem is that this team has look poorly coached and not well prepared for the last 7 weeks. Timing has looked off on offense. We are horribly inefficient in the red zone. We have penalties in key situations. That is 7 games in a row. There was some improvement today. Ryan said he would not try to force things as much and he did not. Yet we could still only converted 5 red zone trips into 1 touchdown. And I'm sure Shannahan will be shown the door way before Quinn. That doesn't fall on Quinn at all (redzone meltdowns) and Quinn isn't the only one coming up with game plans. PeytonMannings Forehead
I have no problem with developing. I just see the same thing over and over. Even Ricardo Allen said on the coaches show last week that they run the same plays even if the offense knows them because they want to win with just execution. Now that the season is officially over maybe we will see some changes. The best defenses rely on execution over trickery. The Panthers, they run basically a handful of coverages. Every offense knows where they're going to be. Seahawks, they basically run three coverages. The Bengals, they're basically throwing matchup zone at you every down from quarters. Patriots, Belichick prefers to work from a 2 high look. And that's just off the top of my head. It's not as uncommon as you think. Mixing up the fronts and personnel packages where the strategy is in today's NFL.Same feeling but I was pulling for a Bowles or rex hiring... mostly rex because he has intensity every game... he gets the most out of his playersFair enough. Everyone has/had their favorites. But Rex, walked into what I think was one of the 3 most talented defenses in the NFL personnel wise and they've gone backwards. The Bills were the #4 rated defense last year and right now they're #19. And he's got the same 6-6 record as Quinn.

You have to adapt, but you can't just throw out what you believe in and start doing something you're not. That's ultimately what doomed Smitty IMO.And it's not exactly Seattle east, but it's not like what he's been doing hasn't been effective. If they were giving up 28-30 points a game while sitting back and getting chewed up I'd agree, but the defense has played well enough to keep the Falcons in games while the offense sputtered. In fact, given the level of talent, I'm not sure you could ask much more out of this group.
