Does Robert Nkemdiche Interest You?

After all of this, he could fall, so, if he's there, it all depends on what our coaches are able to find out on him, and on what gets said in that interview room. I'll just have to trust that they'll be able to come to the right judgement.

I think he definitely will fall from a combination of these off the field issues and his stat sheet. If he is there for us, would you take him personally? I would, I think he's a guy Quinn would love to try and develop. But I know a lot of other people that wouldn't. If he and Jack were both available at our pick that would be a tough decision.

There's too much unknown here. I wouldn't based on just what I know, but I wouldn't be the one digging up dirt, talking to people that know him, and interviewing with him. All of that is necessary even more than usual with someone like this.

Yes. Here is my thing. The Falcons are so talent deprived, they don't have the right to turn their nose up at anybody. Given that Robert Nkemdiche is going to have some issues in his background, especially with the Buckhead hotel incident, I would still have him on my board. I would NOT draft him in round 1. If the Falcons pick in round two come up (say pick 50) and he is still on the board, I will take him, no doubt. Too little talent on this team, especially in the front 7. As long as the guy isn't in legal trouble and can play, a 2nd round pick isn't too much to give up. Especially considering that we don't have anybody from our 2012 draft still in the NFL. We wasted an entire draft on guys that don't have the talent to play. I'm willing to risk one pick on a guys that has "Special Ability" but needs to learn how to be a professional and stay out of trouble. There have been guys that have done worse in the NFL that have worked out.

We could have had La'El Collins for a 7th round draft pick. I'm sure he could have made a difference or at least provided some future stability.

I feel he could fall to the second round because of character concerns.

I honestly want to sign our replacement OL rather than draft. I don't like the thought of rookies protecting Ryan.

If we are able to take someone like Bosa [A DE who can rush the passer, AND is good against the run - rather then having to make subs based on run/pass situations and getting caught with our run D in and they pass] or someone like Jaylon Smith [iNSTANT replacement for Worrilow] and then Nkemdiche in the second? Sign me up.

I think Nkemdiche falling to the 2nd is wishful thinking. If he blows the combine out of the water like everyone thinks he does combined with his size and other physical attributes, I think the furthest he falls is the back end of the top 20. Falling to the second round would great for a team like us but I don't see it happening.
