Arkridge
Robert Nkemdiche has been trending a bit downwards in terms of mock drafts and prospect rankings lately heavily due to having an underwhelming season where he had a lot of missed opportunities even with constant backfield penetration. His awareness needs some work too. Despite this, the 6'4 295 pound Nkemdiche has the athleticism of a linebacker and if he can polish up his game he has the potential to be a force, despite the lack of college production.Lately, I've seen him mocked anywhere from 5-15 in mock drafts. I doubt he falls out of the top 10, but if he does get into the upper end of the top 10 or slightly out, say 8-13, how would you feel about taking this guy if we continue losing like we have and end up with good draft position? HEIST
Get him and the Temple LB who's name I would butcher.
vel
I'm not a fan. Doesn't finish. Looks good but I just don't see him translating to the NFL
hjerry
I doubt that we'll have a shot at him honestly.
etherdome
Is he a guy that "looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane"? I don't want to be the team that has to patiently wait for him to wake up and realize his potential. As a side note, I sure am glad we did not draft Clowney. Smiler11
He's extremely raw. If you're taking him in the top 10 its purely on potential.
AndySG
Sounds similar to Ansah a few years ago.

He's constantly in the backfield in position to make plays it's not like he's absent from games for long periods of time. He needs to work on his awareness and have his finishing ability polished up. FAN_O_THE_ATL
Yes the guy is an animal. He is a guy that can play both DT and DE at a high level IMO. He is one of the only guys i see that could be a Bennett type guy for us.
GeorgiaBoyz
I don't care for him but he has really intriguing physical abilities. JJ Watt kind of intangibles.
jazzyburrell
Even if we lose out we couldn't get him... Top 5 pick.
Arkridge
Even if we lose out we couldn't get him... Top 5 pick.I don't project him going in the top 5 right now, his play doesn't warrant it. But it is December. Come combine time I think he has the opportunity to shine because he's so big yet so agile and athletic, he might be back in top 5 discussion then. But right now I put him towards the back end of the top 10. A lot of mocks I've seen had him going as late at 11-15.

Arkridge
Apparently Nkemdiche fell from the window of his 4th story hotel room today and has multiple cuts. A small amount of weed was also found in his hotel room.

ssippifalcon
Hopefully hes still able to enter the draft, if he heals up he might could fall quite a ways.

Arkridge
hehWhere do you see him going? I don't see him falling out of the top 15 but teams are already aware that he has some off the field concerns and whatever happened with this hotel situation isn't going to help. He didn't do himself any favors with a mediocre season stat wise. I see him going anywhere from 8-15.

tl;dr
Absolutely not I do not want him. Rumors have it that he and a few of his Ole Miss teammates planned to take a trip to Atlanta this December, but they got lost on the way and couldn't find Atlanta. AndySG
If he was fully healthy then he would be a difficult guy to turn down.
hjerry
After all of this, he could fall, so, if he's there, it all depends on what our coaches are able to find out on him, and on what gets said in that interview room. I'll just have to trust that they'll be able to come to the right judgement.
