ATL_DirtyBirds
With the struggles of the passing game and the constant struggles of forcing the ball - is it time for us to go back to the ground where we have seen huge dividends? Lord Sarcomere
Make Ryan a game manager. Feed Freeman when he's healthy, and sprinkle Terron Ward in there. Coleman can go kick rocks.

If Coleman can just learn how to hold on to the ball he will be an asset. Give the kid a break, he's a rookie. If the problem persist then we would have to cut him loose. Also, I just like Terron Ward more than Coleman as a RB, even though he is also a rookie.
Ghosts of Glanville
Attempts per interception, 2015:Matt Ryan: 434/12. = 36 attempts per INTCam Newton: 333/9 = 37 attempts per INTRyan is averaging over 40 attempts per game. Newton, 30So yes, run more

Mr.11
No. We just need Matt to play better. And until that happens, we need to run and not put the game in his hands. Give him the rookie treatment.
falconstwopercentsized
The scheme is bunk when it comes to passing. Corners and linebackers already know where they're throwing before the snap. So much so they can bait matt

ATL_DirtyBirds
Make Ryan a game manager. Feed Freeman when he's healthy, and sprinkle Terron Ward in there. Coleman can go kick rocks. with colemans speed I don't think you can keep him on the bench. That fumble was unfortunate but if Barr doesn't make that play, Coleman is scoring on that play. He's the only RB on our team that has the ability to take it the distance at any time.

ATL_DirtyBirds
...and risk a major Freeman injury..."haha.....H3LL no!"with that logic you might as well only play backups the entire season
GeorgiaBoyz
Yes! I just said this on Twitter. We have two capable RBs in Freeman/Coleman they both compliment each other. Free is more well rounded but Coleman has home run speed that's rarer than all ****. From that point alone he needs touches, while continuing to learn how to hold onto the ball.I won't even bother entertaining the Ward is better than Coleman ****, that's just pure hater talk because the kid fumbled. Ward isn't half the RB Coleman is or a quarter the RB Freeman is.
YoungHeezy
And until that happens, we need to run and not put the game in his hands. Give him the rookie treatment. If it was that easy every team would do it. He needs to play better period.
Theyhateme : )
with that logic you might as well only play backups the entire seasonNah...not run heavy...and my reasoning would be that Coleman would have to come and with his fumblitus. I like the balance....Ryan just needs to settle down. If we are suspected of going "run heavy," teams will force us to throw the ball. falconstwopercentsized
Funny. Pats couldn't do much with Brock Osweiler, especially in the 4th quarter. I wonder what's different in Denver? When you are playing in bad weather i.e. Slippery snow and rain the advantages of knowing where you are going and the defender not knowing is monumental. blizzard_falcon
Yes... especially since so much of Shanahan's passing attack is based around play action.Yet for some reason he refuses to run the ball more than 35% of the time.We need to gameplan like Minnesota and run it 50% of the time once Freeman comes back. Take the workload off of Matt until he can get his head straight.I want to see Freeman and Coleman both get 14-15 touches against Tampa Bay.
