egoprime II
Talk about perfect timing. Richt being fired gives our team the perfect opportunity to fix what ails our offense...moving Shanahan out of the OC position. Richt is known for his offensive play calling. The man has no ego when it comes to winning...he will do whats best for the team. Is Richt perfect? No, no one is. But Richt would be a great addition to this Falcons franchise, and we could sure use him on our offense.

Nono
Richt is smarter man than that--this team's offense is a mess and its beginning to effect the defense although still playing above average

Guest Gritz
I'd rather hire Bill Walsh's granddaughter and let her fix things.

rocknots23
Perfect timing for Ken Whisenhunt... If things don't work out with Quinn, we have a replacement waiting in the wings.. Shanahan appears to be coaching for his next stop on the coaching carousel.. His track record is unbecoming to this point... He calls plays like an obnoxious brat... Almost Chip Kelly'esque... Ezekiel 25:17
The Odds are he will end up in Mia but even thinking this and or it making sense tells you just have awful a job Shanahan has done the last 7 games!

paulitik
It would be exciting what to see what Mark Richts "Aww Shucks" offense could do in the NFL. He didn't understand why college fans were so upset about not having a championship, I'd love to see that attitude translate to the NFL. zzfrow
Maybe the Falcons can lure Josh McDaniels out of New England. Oh wait...Nevermind!
