Herr Beast
He assumed he would get a veteran QB of pro bowl quality, who 1) would need one off season to learn the offense (as any 4+ year veteran is supposed to do) and 2) that this QB could execute his WCO, which heavily depends on the QB to make good post snap decisions by going through the reads.I am pretty sure that he regrets coming to Atlanta. Not saying that he is any good, he probably just lives off his family name but surely he would rethink his decision if he knew what he would find here. Andras
He has to learn that this isn't college. You mold your system to the talent, not the other way around.

You see what happened to the Eagles when Chip tried to mold the talent to his system? Getting rid of players and trading others?
toadfishtom
Ryan would always throw the occasional interception but this year you can depend on it.Especially in the red zone. What can be done about it ?probably nothing at this point. Herr Beast
This needed its own thread.Yeah why not. Mad that you do not have the powers you enjoy during game time? Poor you... Andras
So we rehire Mike Mularkey and create dozens of plays that only have one read?I wouldn't say that but there's no denying it would be better than what we have now. Mularkey's offense with this defense and they'd be winning more games. That's saying something. Edited November 29, 2015 by Andras
INDFalcon
This needed its own thread. The entire front page is about Shanny this or that. Did you realized it now. Good god.

But seriously, do we want to find find a OC who is capable to work with the many limitations of one player? Is that really a solution? UnrealfalcoN
So we rehire Mike Mularkey and create dozens of plays that only have one read?It scored points. That's all that matters.

But seriously, do we want to find find a OC who is capable to work with the many limitations of one player? Is that really a solution? Is there any other option?Do you suggest that we sack the franchise QB that was arguably top 10 for 7 years to hopefully find someone that can please an unproven coodinator? There are many prices to pay for that. The cap hit for starters. Also, better the devil you know....

What is the point in investing time in something you know is broken and can only be fixed to run in very limited way? People act like we would give up so much.... but looking at the last three seasons I see 4-12, 6-10 and now on the way of another 6-10. You really are afraid to lose this? You really are afraid to lose this? The NFL isn't Shanahan or bust. I'm surprised you see it that way.I have to ask you; What has Kyle Shanahan shown you that leads you to putting so much faith in him, scrapping the QB, drafting an unproven rookie/hoping for a FA and hoping that they can work with KS? I see nothing objective in that "solution."
