What Happened With The Falcons Doing Charity Events?

Recommended Posts

So y'all missing high character guys that were big into serving in the community and giving back. Hawley sponsored tickets for military families for every home game. The offensive line loved to do the Huddle Up and charity events. It all starts and ends in the trenches. Team chemistry just isn't the same on or off the field anymore.

That's is kind of what "a dog named Brian" was saying as well.

Just wanted to comment that it's nice to read that people here on this forum genuinely show care and interest in helping charities and those who are less fortunate or in need.

You guys are great. Definitely would like to see more from the Falcons, but it's understandable. If Smith was the common denominator for charity work, then bless that man.

Heck used to if you attend a game on your birthday and told them. They would put a card in your chair.... This year they didn't. Also they have skipped a lot of games with handing out things.

And I hate bringing this up. But the section that usually the troops set at. They haven't done once this year...... They held a college team that was students in the army. And had them put on a show during half time. But it was maybe 30 people.... Nothing compared to how things used to be done.

They don't have to pretend to care about the community anymore, now that they've made their bed with PSLs and corporate fans, who'd rather not even think about the unwashed masses while they enjoy champagne and sushi while watching football sitting down.
