Recommended Posts

I guess I deserved that...well played sir...LOL

Haha way to take it like a champ. I am guessing we will hear more tomorrow.. My thought is no news is good news?

Who am I kidding, I want to hear coach say he is playing. Huge game this Sunday. That was quite the hit though and I am fearing it may take awhile.

I think once they pull you from the game & evaluate you for a potential concussion, they tend to use caution and hold you out of the game even if it might not actually be a concussion.

Was he officially diagnosed with a concussion & is going through the league's recovery process evaluation now, or was it just assumed to be a concussion during the game? I've been kinda out of the loop this week.

Concussion are always serious, but it does appear Freeman avoided the worst of it. Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said his star running back is off to a good start in the NFL's concussion protocol, which likely means Freeman has already been cleared to participate in team meetings. Fleet-footed rookie Tevin Coleman struggled in Sunday's loss to the Colts, managing just 48 yards on 17 carries, without any receptions. The Falcons have a tough Week 12 matchup with the Vikings in a game that's key for the NFC wild-card picture.

Looks like he's doing well but it's a five step program, and 24 hours between each step.
