The Rock
Ryan is regressing though. Take away one of the league's best rushing attacks and arguably the best WR in Jones, and Ryan would be benched already like Peyton Manning. Ryan finally got what he needed, a good run game, reliable TE and WR, better OLine than the last 2 years and a solid defense. No excuses for him. NYCFalc
Everyone was advising yesterday that stats don't matter, wins do. So which is it? i think people are saying you can't just look at stats only in a vacuum, probably in regards to Cam, which is absolutely true. It just hurts more now he hasnt had to play in a complete downpour the last few games so he stats are going up making lazy people look foolish. The Rock
Y'all have no quit do you?Not until Ryan is gone apparently. I used to be a Ryan supporter but I can't be blinded by homerism anymore. He's a mediocre QB that can be upgraded. Andy Dalton has surpassed Ryan as a QB, so has little kid Cam Newton.

Only QB in the NFL to throw for 250+ yards in every game this season and the longest active 250+ yards per game streak in the NFL at 17 games and counting. Also, Falcons are top 5 or 10 in WR drops and fumbles in the redzone most likely. Ryan has his faults but so does most of the rest of this roster.

I give lengthy responses
I would rather have any of them over Ryan. We have the worst QB in the division. Winston will likely have better numbers by the time the season is over, and maybe even more wins.
coastiemike
Kinda easy to achieve that nowadays. If it is so easy, why is Ryan the only QB in the NFL to pass for more than 250 yards in every game this season?
Osiruz
Right now matty lice has more turnovers 16, than he does touchdowns 15. It's a sad day when Winston the rookie is playing better.

NYCFalc
I know, right? Winston better than Luck, Peyton Manning, and maybe Stafford, as well as Ryan. Who would have thought before the season started?this is based on QB Rating. Suggesting Winston is better than those guys almost reaches the level of stupidity. There are so many more intricacies to playing the position than just rating, yards, td's and completion percentage. Some of those would be reading the defense, making adjustments, changing the snap count(Cam caused 4 encroachments yesterday), knowing when to get rid of the ball or run and so many more. The purple didn't work.BTW, if we are going by QBR, Ryan is 12, Winston is 16, and Cam is 20. Let's don't throw out total QBR since it doesn't accurately reflect what is happening on the field.http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr
