dothan_birdman
I've been watching the Falcons as a fan since 73/74. I've seen some really really bad football, and some pretty good football. The problem has always been consistency and playing well on both sides of the ball at the same time. Theoretically, we have a good QB and a decent run game to go with a playmaker receiver. With our anemic defense, the outcome of the games is predictable. With the O now playing just as poorly, it's painful to watch. The team plays without passion, without belief, and without confidence at the first sign of difficulty. IMHO, that's the difference from the start of the season and now. Until those things can be fixed, I don't see more than an 2 wins, and that's assuming a lot of luck.
Power I
I agree. I've followed the Falcons closely since 2001, not as long as you, but half of my life. After the Bucs game I just realized they aren't as entertaining as they used to be. I used to get upset at losses, now it barely phases me. They are what they are. *NiteFalcon*
the team is so boring. no personalities. all the coach can do is get fired up.

Chunkey9
Yeah I felt that they played with no urgency at the end of the game
TifosiMW
This is exactly how I'm feeling right now. They're just not fun to watch. I don't really get any enjoyment out of it but I continue to watch anyway.
Power I
This is exactly how I'm feeling right now. They're just not fun to watch. I don't really get any enjoyment out of it but I continue to watch anyway.Yep. It's just out of habit for me now. I love the game of football, but the Falcons just don't do it for me these days. If all of our players played with Freeman's heart, I would feel differently. But something is just off in the culture, attitude, aura, or whatever else of this team. I can't put my finger on it, but it certainly isn't entertaining or inspiring. Edited November 22, 2015 by Power I
Ghosts of Glanville
This thread X 1000. And it applies to all Atlanta teams, not just the Falcons. This fan base is starved for a winner. Most fans around here are emotionally charged college football fans. The environment is ripe for an aggressive, take-no-prisoners organization to step in and own this town. Instead the Braves, Falcons and Hawks go after it with all of f the emotion and fire of an accounting firm. It's all process, system, rebuilding, etc. F that. I want to be entertained. That means showing some real fire and the front offices acting like they care about more than franchise valuation. I'm fine with losses, but I want to see us go down firing. TifosiMW
And going even further, when we were up 14-0, in the back of my mind I was thinking, "How will we **** this up?". I don't really like feeling like that.
O D B
I know you think what I'm about to say is going to be crazy but it almost looks like the Falcons are trying to lose does that sound crazy

Farmer2
I agree but I can't quite put my thumb on it. Win or lose I just don't care anymore. For whatever reason this team is not enjoyable to watch. I doubt I'll be watching anymore football the rest of the season.
Bring It
This team, under Smitty, was a Toyota Camry.Under Quinn, they are nothing but a Chevy Sonic. A cheap piece of junk.
