KRUNKuno
I fully agree. You'll never see me disagree with these sentiments. I will disagree with where the anger and frustration of those sentiments are directed. Turnovers and penalties are not the job of the coordinators. That's the HC. Notice how you went straight to Mike Smith. Quinn's message on turnovers clearly isn't getting through. The only reason I bring up the total yards stat for the offense is to show we aren't having any issue moving the ball. That means we have a sound gameplan, the correct plays, and the ability to perform. It's the scoring that is down, which is directly the result of turnovers. We lost the last three games by a combined 7 points, had 8 turnovers and no less than 375 yards in two of three. What are they then? Playcalling? Because we scored a TD in the redzone 62% of the time before Sunday, which is top ten. That included the previous turnovers. At one point it was about 75% earlier in the year. That's a touchdown 3/4 of the time we got to the redzone. So please, other than turnovers, what's the issue. Because we were 75% on Sunday, with the one time it wasn't was a......turnover! Surprise! And then what happened to Eli? He got used to the scheme and stopped throwing those idiot INTs. Same with Big Ben. It's called growing pains in the scheme. It's not the scheme.Again, show me evidence where Kyle Shanahan's offense has actually worked
Drunken Minotaur Zebra
This is based on...The shitshow we're now witnessing in Denver, and the collapse of MR in his 8th year out of the blue. It's pretty clear to me. Great field-general type QBs don't just start sucking out of the blue - the common denominator here is the system. HEIST
MR just needs a good running game, a perfect OLine, 3/4 great receiving options, an OC that lets him do whatever he wants, and a top 10 defense and we're set!
Outmyfalconmind
MR just needs a good running game, a perfect OLine, 3/4 great receiving options, an OC that lets him do whatever he wants, and a top 10 defense and we're set! Matt Ryan needs this? Come on man, while I think it was comical you said this, you can't be serious... Matt Ryan's statistics alone show he doesn't need that... Over the last 2 losing seasons, with zero run game he was one of the most efficient QBs in the league... Matt Ryan isn't taking a team anywhere by himself, but taking his accolades away because of this poor season is foolish, because he's done a lot with little numerous times in his career.... Give Matt an OC that's plays to his strengths and a top 10 defense, he'll work magic! As I read earlier, you put Matt Ryan on the Rams and he's bound to win a Super Bowl. Now if your post was just sarcasm and for laughs, I apologize, even tho I'm new here on this board, I've been reading them for a long time, and I didn't see the purple font sir! vel
Something has disrupted the chemistry. Yes the change at center has been a issue. But White is probably shocked to see a pass come his way, his confidence is probably at a all time low.Its like we tried to fix things that where not broken and broke them in the process. White went from getting a new deal, to being useless. We let HD walk for no reason except to get hank who cant hold onto a pass. Jones will be killed by the end of the season the way we are abusing him. That something is the scheme, a scheme notorious for it's effectiveness but also it's complexity. It happens. When we see Matt comfortable and executing, it looks like the first half of the game yesterday. When he's not, it looks like the second half. Roddy hasn't been good. It's called getting old. It happens. HD wasn't good. Especially consider he isn't much of a deep threat and the TE would get more looks than him, Roddy was the replacement for HD. Hank was replacing Roddy. The Hank pick up was a high risk high reward play. I was indifferent about the pick up because I understood it, but never would have made it myself. If that didn't make the most sense... I didn't look at it in that perspective... While I believe roddy can still play, he just hasn't been given the chance this year, that mad too much sense to me... Thank you for that lol
