FentayeJones
Andrew Hirsh @andrewhirsh Falcons sign CB T.J. Heath to the practice squad. At six feet tall, he has the size Quinn likes at that position.

hjerry
Heath, 6-0, 190 pounds, was originally signed by Jacksonville Jaguars as a college free agent following the 2011 NFL Draft out of Jacksonville State. He has spent time as a member of the practice squad for the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns and the Miami Dolphins.Lol everybody panic
blizzard_falcon
He played college ball at Jacksonville State University.UDFA of the Jaguars in 2011.Has bounced around from Jacksonville to Cincy to Buffalo to Cleveland to Miami to Carolina. Most of his career has been spent on practice squads. He was only with the Panties about a month this offseason; he's been on the street since early September.Couldn't find much on him from the 2011 draft. He had his Pro Day at Troy (Alabama):6'0"177 lbs.4.44 40 yard dash1.45 10 yard split6 reps of 225 lbs.36" vertical10' 4" broad jump4.22 shuttle8.84 3-cone drillHe's obviously bulked up a little since coming out of college, since the Dolphins listed him at 190 lbs. last year when he was on their active roster.I also found this blurb:"Heath played collegiately at Jacksonville State where he recorded 145 tackles and 10 interceptions during his career with the JSU Gamecocks. He was named first-team All-OVC as a senior and was a second-team All-America selection as a junior. Born September 11, 1987 in Alexandria, Alabama, Heath attended Alexandria High School." I'm scratching my head on this one, ya'll... Edited November 17, 2015 by FalconJim
paulitik
Someone on Twitter used this news to speculate that Quinn was pushing Blank to fire TD, because we never made a practice squad move mid season before.

paulitik
yes we have.I know. That was my kind of my point. Bloggers and sports journalists will use anything to speculate something so they can create a story instead of actually reporting what's actually there because it's not as interesting.
