Ovie_Lover
When we win we need to keep our expectations in reality and same goes for loses, we were never as good as we thought at 5-0 and we aren't as bad as the recent 1-3 run suggest."You are never as good as everyone says when you win, and you are never as bad as everyone says when you lose." Ovie_Lover
What does this mean for the Super Bowl winners?Any given Sunday, every super bowl winner has lost at some point. Even last year the Seahawks could of easily won but they didn't. And both of those teams lost during the year.

putnam6
Doesn't matter what the media thinks or what the fans think for that matter. All that matters is what those people at the "Branch" think, do and believe.ie, everybody was unsure of the running game, bam here comes Devonta and on the other side you got everybody thought Ryan and the WCO was going to something to watch, and so far they got stats but no cohesiveness. KRUNKuno
We're still a very good team. You do not get to 5-0 by some fluke circumstances. Somewhere along the road we lost what was working for us and got cute. We have a top rusher and dont use him, we have 50 different receivers and only utilize one, the offense is slow developing. Defensively, yes, we're a bbdb which is not an issue as long as your powerhouse offense scores points. We're a good team and can compete with any team in the league. I see no reason to temper my expectations. This team just needs to play some **** football and stop pussyfooting around.
madman88
This is very true, but obvious problems like not using roddy, or running obvious plays can all be corrected..So I'm hoping this staff isnt stubborn and we see change.

HASHBROWN3
You're right OP. What's maddening is that we laid an egg in the last two games. Just knowing that if we just play adequately on O in these games, we're 8-1.I've never witnessed a stretch where we looked so dysfunctional. I mean scary dysfunctional. That's why we're all worried. I mean we are all aware that our O can play much better than this. We need to play loose too. You can't go in saying to yourself "ok, I can't make a mistake". That doesn't work. Play hard, fast and loose baby.
Ovie_Lover
18-1Exactly the 9-7 team beat the 18-0 team.Records can be misleading.
jm_falcons
We are 1-3 against bad teams though. SF...TB...TEN...NO.I think INDY...even with Hbeck...is just as good as any of those above teams and MIN is better than any team we have face so far. My point is....this offense better get on track or we are going to rack up some losses over the final 7 games and will have a tough time getting a WC spot.We have to play Car twice and there D is much tougher than any we have faced thus far.
