My Expectations At Various Points In The Season.....

Recommended Posts

Before the season..... we are anywhere from an 8-8 to 10-6 team but still rebuilding

After the 5-0 start.... hmmnnn we may be a little better than I thought 11-5

At the bye.... We have come down to earth and we are what I originally thought, 8-8 and rebuilding

So I can't understand why some folks are as upset as they are. I don't get it. The team is what it is right now but it's pretty ridiculous to already be talking about running coaches out of town. Honestly, what did everyone expect?

I still think way to many people let themselves get taken away by the 5-0 start.

You answered your own question.

The 5-0 start raised the expectation level...yours and many other fans too...me included. I didn't think after the 5-0 start that the Falcons were going to the Superbowl or anything like that but I didn't see the absolute nosedive and wretched play they have put forth for the past month+ either.

This is my point also. Most folks on this board had this team anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6. This team is currently on track to meet or exceed everyone’s expectations but suddenly folks want to run Quinn out of town. – which is a shame because Quinn is a dam good coach. He has brought this defense from last to now top ten with virtually no pass rush.

Im not really surprised by all of the emotional break-downs but at least give the man a year or two before writing him off. A first time head coach has to have a learning curve just like everybody else in the first 10 months of their job.
