Guest Gritz
Going to skip this one...There's nothing I want to hear from anyone associated with the Falcons for the next 2 weeks.Focus. Do your jobs. Play better.
etherdome
You know, I was about to check out the presser, but Gritz is right. I am done listening.
Mega Flare
He thought it was the best play call, even after the fact. That says alot. One reporter asked what happened to all the tough talk when he opted to kick the FG.
etherdome
That's actually pretty funny. I might have to watch the thing.

Romfal
I like that someone with a spine asked why the play calling is garbage on both sides of the ball
PokerSteve
He would never admit he blew it. Just wouldn't own it no matter how they phrased their questions. Hey Dan, nobody's perfect, you can stop pretending now. Please don't ever make the same dumbazz decision again as our HC. Thanks in advance. foreverelway
I don't think that's a bad call he made IF the defense was making stops all day long, but they were NOT. I am not a head coach, but on my couch I said they should try to win or lose the game right there. The offense was playing better than the defense, you go with the better side in my opinion. blizzard_falcon
He thought it was the best play call, even after the fact. That says alot. One reporter asked what happened to all the tough talk when he opted to kick the FG.I actually watched it after seeing this comment. I was glad to see the Atlanta media finally asking tough questions.Loved the one reported who pointed out that we had an "embarrassing" loss at home to Tampa, then turned around and lost to a team that was "reeling."The Falcons organization needs to understand that the fans are tired of this same old ****. This team is not living up to its potential at all.Wish Quinn would just have admitted that he made the wrong call, though. How do you not understand that running the ball on 4th down is the best move there, because if you don't get it, you put the other team on the 1 or 2 yard line, making it much harder for them to convert first downs and run out the clock, and giving you better field position if you do force a punt. notthatcool
The only reason I might think the FG was the right call (and I don't think it was the right call). Does Quinn have no faith in our ability to get the ball in the endzone and thought it would take two FGs to win?
FentayeJones
If Quinn felt in his heart of hearts it was the right call then im glad he stuck to his guns. Every decision he make is not going to work out but I rather he be decisive and stick by his decision than be wishy washy. This is actually a good thing for him to go through. Its easy when you start out 5-0 - some adversity will make him a better coach. Edited November 9, 2015 by FentayeJones
Da_Truth
More coach speak. He's beginning to sound like a parrot. Then again, no HC will ever tell the media/fanbase how he really felt about their team's poor performance.
atlantaprodj
Poor game management skills all season... we've been fortunate.I was so pissed off I deleted the whole season of games from DVR or I could list more. This game...Doesn't call a time out after the long pass to Julio with less than one minute on the clock at the end of the 1st half...Team is scrambling down field and fortunately the 49ers are just as winded... LUCK!The 4th and 1 call... boneheaded. Already discussed in a too many threads...The challenge... Throw the challenge flag on a spot that will never be reversed and ignore one the whole world knew would be!Whoever is responsible for monitoring the video upstairs should be fired! I or any competent fan could manage this duty 100 times better! Two crappy losses because of turnovers and now another HC decision loss! The fans have every right to be pissed off! We could easily be 9-0! We're fortunate to be 6-3!

The Falcon Jedi Knight
The presser I DO want to listen to is Kyle Shannahans,... I want to know what sewage is going to come out of his mouth now
HOYLE
It was not a vote of confidence in the offense or Shanahan'sability to dial up a play. We had been stuffed all game when we attempted to run but Ryan completes about 100% of his 2 yd passes.

Hashbrown3
Yep, there was no way we'd have elected to run that ball from the 2. Free averaged 1 yard per carry the entire game. Afterall, Navarro Bowman would have screamed through untouched to tackle his azz two yards behind the LOS...But no reason in **** that we didn't try to pass or play action pass. Quinn won't second guess himself here just because it opens the door to him being piled on. But you can bet in his heart of hearts, he knows it was the wrong call fells. I really don't need to hear him say it aloud.
Domed Outter
on no huddle: "when its the right time to feature it, we definitely will" aka nothing will change since he said the same BS 2 weeks ago. So that'll be once at the end of the 2nd and 4th quarters, meanwhile we do **** all for the rest of the game and hand it on a silver platter to the opposition. Right on.
