GET-ME-A-DB-TD
Enough is enough. Beasley is better in coverage than any other LB we have and Scho is better rushing the passer. That Int he had and the Two deflected passes last week Beasley in coverage proves it. If your gonna have to have shoot gaps or blitz where wheeler did today and schofield got his sack last week. Beasley is GREAT in coverage and cant use his arms for **** to Rush. I saw ghis all the way back at the combine. Is Quinn really as stubborn as Smith? Reed, Maponga and Schofield ALL bull rush tackles off the edge better than anything Beasley does.

THEHEADCOACH
I agree. He would be a great LB.
Ghosts of Glanville
Been thinking the same thing about Beasley. He's just too light to leverage NFL tackles. why keep beating our heads against a wall?
sanfranfalcon
Scho's bull rush is the best from any DE on this team at this point!!! Edited November 9, 2015 by sanfranfalcon
TheeTKOBeatz
I concur....he should be and olb..and an occasional downlineman....I hope Quinn figures it out...straight edge rushing isn't his strength in the nfl imo
Halsey.
Yes! That's it! The Falcons are 6-3, therefore people on message boards no more about where players should play than coaches do! Moving those two players will magically turn the Falcons defense into the 1985 Bears!
PokerSteve
I think you're on to something. He looks at home in coverage, and he looks completely ineffectual attempting to rush the passer. He can't even fake rushing the passer he sucks so hard at it. Let Schofield have the opportunity to go for the QB. And get Jarrett in the mix more. *NiteFalcon*
we'll be garbage regardless of where either of them play. the ghost of abraham strikes again

sanfranfalcon
it ain't gonna happen but...Scho at DE/SLB and Clayborn at the other DE...move Reed to MLB...start lettin' Beasley get snaps at WLB. let Wheeler gets snaps at SLB when Scho goes to DE. Worrilow is just not a difference maker at MLB...and when Durant is healthy then he's healthy.. FalconJim
Actually, that's a great idea --- and I'm not being feceious! A few games back, I was watching a slow motion replay, and noticed how easyily VB44 got pushed out of the way by a LT (Peters, I think) In my opinion, he's just "too light in the britches" to go up against almost any of the OTs in this league, and be successful at it. So, yes, I think it would be an excellent idea to move him to OLB --- at least, on a trial basis! I mean, what could it hurt? He ain't doin' a whole lot right now, where he's at ---GO, YOU DIRTY BIRDS!!!
The Real Tony G.
I was about to make a thread on this. Beasley should definitely be playing LB at this point.
MilleniumFalcon
He looks better in coverage and send him occasionally for blitzes. His body type is more of an OLB, I wouldn't mind moving him there, he doesn't look comfortable as DE, just getting pushed around too much. Deezy0624
All of you guys might be right. We might just have our own Von Miller in the wrong position.
WOR
It's incredibly annoying because he watched his old team do the exact same thing with Irvin. Come on coach!
bird backer
All of you guys might be right. We might just have our own Von Miller in the wrong position.Von Miller weighs 250 - if Beasley insists on playing at 235 maybe he should be an LB as it would suit him better. He's probably faster than all of our LBs anyway...

The Falcons are 6-3, therefore people on message boards no more about where players should play than coaches do! Moving those two players will magically turn the Falcons defense into the 1985 Bears! No but it will sure as sh!it fix some coverage problems. Beasley is a FREAK athlete that we never shoulda drafted but we did. Kikaha was there in the third and he was the one...doesnt matter now...Anyway he can cover A TE as well as No. 59 in carolina. atlGM
What I said all off-season. He is best suited to be a 3-4 linebacker not a DE . we still need to address the pass rush in the draft and free agency schoefield is a great as a rotation guy but shouldn't be starting
GET-ME-A-DB-TD
WATCH HIS REPLAYS WHEN HE PLAYS LE. The tackle consistently grabs his arms and "pins" him in a sort of way. He better call Robert Mathis and get some pointers
GET-ME-A-DB-TD
What if he just dropped some weight and played SS. He can cover better and is faster than any Safety we have
tldr
99% of people said he is a 34 olb, too small and short arms to be a 43 de.
GET-ME-A-DB-TD
3-4 OLB'ers are typically 260-280 lbs. not for Beasly
