Sponge
did we get a sack today? I seen Beasley using his spin move and the LT just guiding him out and around the QB. But did anyone get to the QB?

Mr. Hoopah!
Should I go to the doctor? Yesterday it only itched, but today it burns and itches. And it smells like almonds. t

Sponge
I'm happy Beasley got an int today but otherwise he was a non factor. I watched him quit on a play where the RB passed by him and he barely trotted after him. His teammates were actually running past him to stop the the play. I guess he thought the Safety was going to get him. That frustrates me since I'm a Beasley supporter.

FalconFanSince1970
And Quinn was bringing pressure against a milktoast QB. Still no sacks. Is it coaching, scheme, motivation, playing players out of position, or just flat out Dimi talent? We're on pace for a putrid 18 sacks. That would probably be the worst total in franchise history. At least BVG and Nolan could get 32 sacks. What's the problem folks? Do tell.
Sponge
Beasley blitzing from the OLB position while the Dline is locked up with the Oline would get him a sack every game imo. He's so fast in a straight line to the qb.

jlrfalcon
At least we have improved on this over last year when we clearly realized this was a major problem? We got a rookie knowing that few rookie rushers ever mount double-digits in sacks their rookie years and then found a few scrubs left over from a few teams. And, we saved a lot of money under our salary cap.

What's the NFL record for the LEAST number of sacks in a season?I really thought a revived Babs, plus Clayborn and Beasley, would at least lift us to slightly-below-average under Quinn's tutelage.I believe we are affecting the QB more than we did last year, even though we have way fewer sacks. But I could be wrong. And even if I'm right, it's not good enough. We have to figure the pass rush out.
