Atlantafan21
No, but we've been playing like a 1 win team through the past five weeks.
rounz
I envy you 'cause if you have to ask that means you haven't been following this sorry excuse of a team down the rabbithole this year.
Ghosts of Glanville
sometimes, when my kids throw a tantrum, I just sigh and let them run it out. That is pretty much the approach I take on this board after a loss.

Kris P bacon
I'm so tired of the glimpse of hope only to be blinded by the failure! That is all I have to say about this team. I am tired. So so tired
Silvoxx
Record doesn't matter this team is terrible against bad opponents and hasn't even played a good team yet.

Atlantafan21
If we were playing like a one win team wouldn't we have one win?Through the past five weeks, we're 2-3. Difference from a one win and two win team isn't much different.
The O.D.B
WE have one of the top QBs in the league. We have a RB who has the most TDs in the NFL. We have a top 3 run defense. We have the media proclaimed best WR in football. and we just lost back to back games to two of the worst teams in the NFL. Who knows what we are at this point.......... Bobby.Digital
Who cares what our record is. This team is lucky to play some horrible teams. If we had a semi tough schedule we would have a losing record. Were a long ways away from being a legit superbowl contender. You can hide behind our record as much as your like but it doesnt change the fact that we arent that good.
MilleniumFalcon
The Falcons fooled me with their squeak by wins early in the season. The way they played the past 4 games is what I expected in the offseason and this looks to be the real Falcons team. They've only looked good against Houston and for a 2nd half against Dallas, other than that it has been pretty much mediocre play against mediocre Quarterbacks (sans Brees). Ryan's arm strength seems to be an issue and he's missing his target way too often. I don't see this team beating the Colts and Vikings after the bye week, they should be 6-5 and fighting for a wildcard spot. The team can probably squeak out 3-4 more wins but will be one and done in the playoffs.

We struggled with a team who basically lost all their starters.

People were already skeptical of this team after that redskins game.Me, Bawse, Torris, and a select few others were pointing out the obvious areas this team needed work on after the first gameBut wins kept blinding many posters hereNeed another offseason to add talent. Till then, we are not contenders. We will be soon though

Last year our catastrophic injuries caused Koetter to rip out 3/4 of the playbook and what we ended up with was a bunch of passes inside 10 yards. This allowed opposing defenses to stay close to home and shut down our run game. This also made Matt throw quickly into very tight windows, where he can be deadly or horridly impotent. Other than the one pass to JJ today the last time I remember a pass of decent distance was Tamme's diving grab against the skins in the 4th. You could point at the online being horrid again for the cause of this but, most of the game they really aren't horrid and are good enough to win games against most teams (in my eyes). Since we aren't using Roddy just send him long on every play. At least Matt would have one receiver away from the heart of the defense that he could chuck it to.I really don't know what Kyle needs to see to open the playbook up again. Guest Gritz
I react to the product and play that I see on the field. What I see when I look at the Atlanta Falcons right now is a bad football team.End of story.
