Miller2Rison
I Think Ryan was a great draft pick at the time as was Turner and Smitty. We know we outgrew Smitty but have we outgrew Ryan as well? He has strengths and weaknesses but as of late, actually since the Tony G signing in 09, he has stared down receivers. I give Ryan the rest of the season and if he cant step up I think its time to move on.
Tony Diesel
These last 4 games are reminiscent of Joey Harrington... when 3 straight completions without getting a first down was the norm. smh
Falconblade22
why would you pass the **** ball on the goal without one single run attempt ....
Nono
so tired of the dink and dunk
paulitik
Sorry, but you can't put this loss on Matt Ryan.5 drops. He got us in position to win the game, and we kicked it. This is stupid.
lod01
Stares down whoever he's throwing to like he's a rookie backup. Pathetic.
paulitik
why would you pass the **** ball on the goal without one single run attempt .... Maybe because the leading rusher in the NFL only could muster up 12 yards.
netrto4150
There's no question Ryan is on t he downhill, we don't have a credible second so it's time to look at new QBs! Ryan's a great guy but he's done all he can and now he's hurting the entire organization.Time to start looking!
Lord Sarcomere
Checkdown Charlie.Man I have no confidence in the guy anymore. I honestly believe every pass he tosses is going to be intercepted.
Godzilla1985
Don't care. We blew our 1 opportunity at a trophy in 2012. Carolina will win one this year and we will be the oldest team in the NFC and don't have one trophy.
Jesus
Ryan isn't the problem. The playcalling is terrible. We are 3rd and goal and none of the receivers are in the end zone? What? That happens all the time. Ryan runs the plays given to him. It seems like every play has not 2-3 options.
SativaSam
Sorry, but you can't put this loss on Matt Ryan.5 drops. He got us in position to win the game, and we kicked it. This is stupid. I disagree, you can put a large percentage of this loss on Matt Ryan.He is to the point where not only can he not complete 5 yard out routes, he throws to Julio in triple coverage when Roddy is left alone down the left sideline (most likely BECAUSE defenses now know Ryan has tunnel vision)
THEHEADCOACH
I cant blame him when his wrs are dropping balls,¬ getting open, center cant snap, OC's play calling is terrible&abandoned the run, he is being forced into a new offense that doesnt fit him,& his line is struggling. Ovie_Lover
30/45 with 5 drops and we blame Ryan? Why not blame Freeman? What did he do today?
HEIST
Blaine freakin Gabbert had better ball placement than Matt Ryan today.
slamee101
Ryan doesn't look good in the new offense. No idea what the problem is. Issue is that we had the two stinkbombs we had the last two seasons so it's naturally going to lead to questions about whether your franchise/elite level QB is truly that. zekeyboy1
Nah. New offense...It takes two or three years to perfect. He'll be only what 34-35 by then. We'll have a better oline, and His arm will only get stronger.. Just be patient..Yawn..
atlshocker
no oline and play callings sucks....You seen how matt drove down the field on the last drive when he called plays. Plus Roddy white sucks too.
Oh4Real?!
so tired of the dink and dunkAm I the only one who noticed SF started sitting on routes after a while? That's what happens when you don't stretch the field. We don't play with a sense of urgency until we're down..& that's when Matt Ryan has the most control and is AT HIS VERY BEST. Guest Mr Plow
Was Matt the one that was responsible for us ONCE AGAIN not touching the other guy's QB? Was Matt the one that made the gutless call to not go for the win on 4th and 2? Was Matt the one that was responsible for our running game being non-existent? Was Matt the reason our defense couldn't get a stop against one of the worst teams with the worst QB when the game was on the line? No!!!!!Was Matt 30/45 for 303 yards, 1 TD and NO turnovers? Did Matt have a QB rating in the triple digits? Was Matt awarded the player of the game for the Falcons?Yes!!!But by all means ... continue on with the "Oh boo hoo hoo ... it's all Matt's fault" drivel. opensource01
Maybe because the leading rusher in the NFL only could muster up 12 yards.Maybe cause he only got 12 carries, several of which were to the outside which were obviously not gonna work? quotemokc
I blame the play calling and the Oline

Guest Mr Plow
Blaine freakin Gabbert had better ball placement than Matt Ryan today. Gabbert 15/25 for 185, 2 TD and 2 Int.Ryan 30/45 for 303, 1 TD and 0 Int.Try again Chief.
JJC28
Matt could start for 20 other teams in the NFL.
