When Will People Get It.

Recommended Posts

The Falcons are beating themselves. Tampa did not play that good of a game. When you give the ball to the other team, you make it extremely hard on yourselves. The Falcons gave the ball to Washington 3 times took 2 turnovers, the stains 3 times didn't create a turnover against them, it was an even trade at 2 against Tennessee, and a whopping 4 against Tampa. If you watched the game, Tampa didn't want to win. It was almost like we were trying to help them win. Instead of thinking the sky is falling, just think; if they can become disciplined. With the way the defense is playing, and we have all seen what can be done when the offense is clicking. The rest of the league needs to watch out.

It doesn't matter if you beat yourselves or if the opponents beat you. It's scoreboard. Games are made up of events that each team can either take advantage of, or fail to take advantage of. You do not receive any credit or respect as a good team if you lose in a manner that allows you to claim that you "beat yourselves". Every single loser on Sunday can make that claim. You lost. You've lost two games. You're not beating yourselves. You're going onto the field and winning some and losing some. If you "beat yourselves" 15 times in a season, should the rest of the league still "watch out" on the 16th game?

And the QB is leading the way.

The rest of the league needs to watch out?

HUH?!?!

Yes they do...if MR can figure it out.

I have no confidence at all in this team (for this season) being able to stop the bleeding on the turnovers and stupid penalties.

There is a huge difference between having these problems in the preseason and/or the start of the season and the problems becoming more constant and numerous halfway through the regular season.

I don't know exactly why it's happening but this "unicorns and rainbows" narrative that is all of a sudden going to be fixed sounds incredibly naive to me.
