Carter
Goodbye October! What a brutal month for Georgia football.Things are still looking amazingly good on the recruiting front though. All the talk about Richt losing his job will eventually find its way into our rivals mouths to recruit against us, but for now things are still looking good from what I can gather.Anyone care to take a stab at an early list of visitors for the Kentucky game? Carter
none taken. a buddy of mine sent it to me. he is, of course, a vol fan. there are tons of them here in Chattanooga. Yeah, I grew up in Nashville. Fun times for a UGA fan lol...I don't think there's anything to it. That article makes a lot of unsubstantiated claims. Now is a perfect time for that negative recruiting spin, we should probably expect more.
Monteg1026
All I see on 24/7 is Florida reaching out to him.I was going to edit it say it's not a big deal I think the kid goes to UGA regardless of Richt.
sdogg
It appears Eason is going to hold us hostage to Richt. Oh well, I'll stick with my belief that Richt will get the Eason era to win it all. He will restire after that, good or bad.

Carter
There is literally nothing to that article. Don't get too caught up in all the negativity. Whatever happens with the coaching staff will happen and I doubt Eason has any influence over it.

It all makes sense now. My favorite part is Eason and Nauta have spoken privately and Michigan is their mutual #1. I guess it wasn't so "privately" then. Carter
Here's a better read about Eason.https://www.dawgnation.com/football/recruiting/what-happens-to-5-star-jacob-eason-if-mark-richt-does-not-remain-at-ugaJacob is not out shopping for another college, Tony Eason said. He just has a relationship with a lot of coaches around the country he has met along this journey. The last thing he wanted to do is come across like hes not loyal to Georgia or anything. Hes probably tried to be the most loyal commit to Georgia that the man has ever had.Eason wants to run a Pro-Style offense in college. He doesnt want to be a running quarterback, Tony Eason said. He wants to learn a system that is going to get him ready and have success in college and utilize those skills that will hopefully prepare him for the next level the Good Lord willing. He really likes Georgia and he likes the offense. I dont want to take anything from the coaches and say that is just the system he likes at Georgia. He loves Coach Richt. We really like the guy. Hes a big reason why he committed there. He also acknowledged that his son has ingrained himself in the UGA culture since his commitment. UGA fans from as far away as Savannah have traveled to the Pacific Northwest to watch his high school games. That has made an impression on Eason.Tony Eason disputed a ChatSports.com report that infers his son is already lining up options in the event that Richt does not survive. He said that his son is not turning his back on UGA.Hes torn up right now when he watches Georgia play like all the other fans, Tony Eason said. He wants to see the team win. He wants to see his team do well. It is stressful. He wants to see that offense put some points up. He wants to see victories and hear people say good things about Georgia. To him, it is like hearing somebody bad-mouth a family member. He takes all of this personally.

sdogg
Great news. Yeah, I think as long we don't make a drastic change of scheme, Eason is all Dawgs, no matter the HC and /or OC.
