mashburn*Fibonacci
I tried saying this and got blasted. And I stand by this comment still. Ryan is great and shannahan is good. But the two together do not work. One or the other needs to go when the season is over. And right now I'll keep hoping they click and prove me wrong. Because shannahan has made us a better o-line and a better run team.
insight
We never ran read option with smith so of course that would never happen but there has been a fumbled exchange between Matt and Turner. More than once in 5 years. This is the only one with Free and Matt. And that's all in learning a new scheme and nothing else. As for the snaps smith never had a converted guard playing center. Regardless that regime had their own brand of multi turnover games and this regime has their brand. Clean it up and move foward.Quinn did not HAVE to convert a guard to a center they chose to cut Hawley a week before the season started and roll the dice on one of the key positions on the team. The created there own issue. In regards to running a read option don't run plays in live games until you have them worked out. This offense is so sloppy it's amazing to imagine they have been working on this all off season. This is professional football guys get paid allot of money to execute, I've seen less mistakes out of high school programs committing senseless penalties, Throwing passes across the body to the middle of the field, carrying the ball in the wrong hand some of these miscues are in-excusable at this level. insight
That's right I forgot that.Joremarid, on 03 Nov 2015 - 10:57 AM, said:We lost the last game vs the Panthers in 2014 because we couldn't execute a snap on the final drive. Hawley snapped the ball 15 yards behind matt ryanIn 2014 we won the 1st game in Carolina and were pimp slapped in the final game of the season 34-3. You must be talking about another year. madman88
It really is just simply turning the ball over.. if we just stop getting in our own way, we would be fine..This is a mental thing not physical, not scheme, not talent.Everyone on the team needs to stay focused on not turning it over but don't think about it too much.. etherdome
Completely the opposite of true. He just needs time to settle into it. ^^^THIS^^^ For crying out loud. Let's stick with what we have and work to execute it flawlessly. This season is a transition year. Let's all just get over it.
Byrdman242424
By chance, did anyone watch the MNF Game last night? The Ravens get pinned inside the one yard line after a great punt. The very first play that they ran was a PLAY ACTION PASS and the QB didn't throw a pick, he threw it away. The SECOND play they ran....ANOTHER PASS. Incomplete. The 3rd?!?! You guessed it. A pass to the TE for a 1st down. Did you realize who that QB was for the Ravens last night? Matt Schaub. Shanahan isn't crazy.

I don't think anyone will want him.So shannahan needs to think abbot that and stop with this not caring of he upsets someone or not.

Were they winning by a touchdown in the 4th quarter when they passed out of their endzone?By the way I thought the Ravens were having a terrible season, not exactly the team to pattern what to do to win games. Lol yall have an excuse for everything! The FACT is that teams around the NFL pass on the 1 quite often. Winning or losing. Either it's a bad decision or it's not. The situation shouldn't dictate whether it was a good decision or a bad decision.

Either it's a bad decision or it's not. The situation shouldn't dictate whether it was a good decision or a bad decision. You are 100% wrong, situation has EVERYTHING to do with it. If you are losing late in the game you must be more aggressive and the playcalling should reflect this. On the other hand if you are winning by a comfortable margin you run the ball taking time off the clock limiting the opponents possessions. You limit the possibility of game changing mistakes.Matt has had double digit turnovers in the last 4 games but you ask him to run a playaction play in his own endzone where he turns completely around losing site of the defense and his #1 target is Tamme in the middle of the field and not Julio who is singled covered. You guys crack me up! Let me ask you this, when was the last time Matt Ryan lost three consecutive home games?
