runshoot
100% accurate. This is not the offense for matt
coastiemike
Nope. 37/45, 82% completion rate, 397 Yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT. That 109 passer rating REALLY sucks. I mean ALOT!Nope, he just can't throw the ball at all in this offense.
DonDaLuvMaker
He seemed to be settling in today. The offense moved the ball at will.Just the turnovers and penalties hurt.
Sponge
I think the Oline is regressing and forcing Matt into bad situations. But at the same time, Matt needs to no when to escape from a collapsing pocket.
Lornoth
Completely the opposite of true. He just needs time to settle into it.

vel
He's been tripping but his stats today are fine. The fumbled snap, the bobbled snap on the toss, etc. He's just not Matt Ryan. But saying he isn't a fit is just a rash reaction. Matt Schaub fit. Josh McCown fit.

Get a serviceable center in here and I guarantee you we see an improvement in his play.
Joremarid
Coming into today... 5th ranked offense by yards, 4th ranked by points.
slewis1952
I agree 100%. Matt is one of the best no huddle QB's. Have we seen any no huddles this year? Not one!!! Shanahan has a history and its not very impressive.
Guest Mr Plow
If I see one more "It's all Matt's fault" threads I swear I'm gonna have a running duck fit. Hey **** for brains ... Matt was 37/45 for 397 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Now kindly STFU.

lod01
The INT was 100% Matt's fault. He had Justin Hardy with no one covering him about 10-15 feet to the right of Tamme and he didn't see the wide open receiver. Instead he threw to a guy with 3 guys around him and one all over him. Moist Words
He's actually prototypical for this scheme.This. I'm not going to pretend that I know exactly what the problem is but if I'm not mistaken this is the same scheme he ran at BC.
BCEagleATLFalcon
Most of our best drives, when we are moving at will, have been in 2-minute situations where the offense is in Matt's hands. So why not mix in some no-huddle throughout the game?I don't have the football smarts to know how to fix this. But I have a very hard time believing that Ryan suddenly lost all the fundamentals and accuracy that have been hallmarks of his game. But it was low, but used to be he didn't have a problem.). And then he had an interception. 3-4 turnovers his fault. And in the red zone. Shanahan has a history and its not very impressive.if I remember correctly, Matt ran the no huddle quite well. KS, I'm not so sure about his play calling at times. mashburn*Fibonacci
He no longer changes the plays up. He locks onto players. Show me a clip or point me to a video where he changed the play. Or where he looked at what was coming at him and told everyone else who was rushing in. Joremarid
Shanahans scheme does not call for botched snaps or fumbles down field. It does not call for having your punts blocked. Those aren't scheme issues those are execution issues. You don't win games at-4 in the turn over battle. The nfl isn't college, most teams ate pretty equal in talent. GritsPittz
We need to hand the keys to Freeman and let Ryan manage the game.
