Can't Blame Dq Or Dimitroff For The Loss Today

Recommended Posts

That's all on the offense, particularly, Matt Ryan. The turnovers cost the Falcons the game. The OL is still simply not good enough. But Ryan has not been in his A game for about 3-4 weeks now.

And BTW...I tried to tell all you guys infatuated with Vic Beasley he was not the answer. Look at his build right now, I bet he's not over 235 pounds. He's a total non factor.

Another Dimitroff bust.

Some blame has to be on DQ simply because the team looked unorganized at times... substitutions on defense in OT were a mess, it was so bad, I thought I was watching college football... you can not pin that on the players... DQ is still a rookie HC and sometimes it shows. Mike Smith - for all his shortcomings - would have better control of his team in that regard.

How is it that the team looked more well-run in the early part of the season than it does now?

I would have expected these turnovers week 1 or so but this tells me that we are running too many plays without practicing them or not practicing the fundamentals.

Other teams get sick of losing and get better.

The Falcons expect to win, this is good, but perhaps this Expectation takes over......ahead of sharp physical play. A team like Tampa Bay shows up, an underdog, and takes advantage of all our miscues.

With a smile on their face.

Actually you can. The crappy OL is a result of TD never being able to assemble a quality unit in the first place. Penalties and turnovers are something that was never an issue during Smitty's tenure, so yes discipline is now a factor, as is ball security. This team ******* sucks, and that it is evident from the top on down. There are no excuses.

The players and the coaches keep saying "We need to clean some things up", yet they can't do it, in fact, things get worse. So that just tells me that there is no dynamic presence on this team.

I'm not mad, because at the end of the day it does't mean a ******* thing in the grand scheme of life. It's just entertainment, and I can find that in many different forms. So for now this organization can go **** itself, which is what it always seems to do.

37/45, 82% completion rate, 397 Yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT. That 109 passer rating REALLY sucks. I mean ALOT!

Yep, I blame Ryan for not tucking the ball tight enough into Julio's arms to keep from fumbling. I also blame him for making the effort ther roll that snap across the ground that TB recovered. **** it. We should hold him accountable for holding all those pass rushers while he was throwing the ball, leading to all those hold penalties. I think we should also blame him for not blocking TB's FG in OT, as well as those two PIs in OT that led to TB getting good field position. Maybe he was at fault for traffic being backed up leaving the dome today also. Great call moron.

This.... The mass substitutions and inability to find a center that can consistently handle the C to QB exchange is on him. He's still eons beyond Mike Smith.

How so??

How often under Smitty did you see have 13 turnovers in 1 month???

How often did you see inept snapping under Smitty??

How often did you see running backs run into the qb on hand offs???

The answer is you did not.. why?? Because Smitty had the team prepared and we did not beat ourselves..........For all of the good Quinn has done, in our 2 loses we have done more to beat ourselves then ANYTHING the saints or Bucs did.

Just rewatch the game Matt Ryan performed poorly. People look at stats and do not understand the fundamentals of football. He has been part of the problem and needs to play better football if we are going to have any chance competing in the post-season.

It says allot when John Stallworth makes a comment that Matt needs to go to a QB camp. That say a WHOLE lot about how he is playing.

I blame the guy that is responsible for establishing discipline, and teaching proper technique.

I blame Quinn. He is the Head Coach and deserves the criticism.

Hey, one game is a fluke, but the Falcons now have an established trend of poor ball security and poor technique that draws penalties.
