Andy2
Our offensive player of the month doesn't even touch the ball and we play into our biggest weakness. We acted like we had less than a minute to score. Defenses bullrushing knowing we are passing has been our biggest weakness. Why did we not mix it up with some run plays with our second best player on the team. No, we elect to drop matt back whos been nothing but a liabilty as of late and trust him. WHAT GIVES
TheFatboi
My sentiments exactly. Why did we not run one time?
MilleniumFalcon
They were stuffing the run pretty good but ibwouldv tried to get Freeman a touch or two at least.

Atlantafan21
Should've ran it on third down. It's four down territory anyway.
Andy2
Great point about not taking shots down field. Kyle shanahan is starting to concern me. Never a chance at pass interference calls when you dont even try. Worked for tampa today.
twright21
This bothered me. The play with the Ryan fumble, I was expecting a nice stretch run.
Kris P bacon
We just aren't running the ball enough, period. Not utilizing Coleman at all!! What gives?
Mid-Nite-Toker
My sentiments exactly. Why did we not run one time?We lost focus because we trailed and got stuck in pass mode.A screen play to DF would've slowed TB pass rush down in OT...its like we played against the clock in OT. Just like the saints game. That's the one thing that pisses me off about Kyle. And Koetter was running the ball. Just crazy. It's like they're trying to put a leash on free sometimes. Andy2
Bottom line is yeah matt has had many great game winning drives but lately he has been very shaky. GIVE THE DA@$ ball to freeman or pass it to and let him do his thing
MilleniumFalcon
I guess since they didn't run one time in the last TD drive and the offense was moving the ball at will through the air they decided to stick with it.
Andy2
We had 8 minutes to work the ball down field. What a brain freeze on the coaching staff
Andy2
If we mix it up there is no doubt in my mind we win
Andy2
typical day in the life of an Atlanta Falcons fan. We should be used to these huge disappointments by now
BCEagleATLFalcon
I was half hoping we'd just go for the 2-point conversion with less than 20 seconds to play. I mean, I know what we did was the smart football move in every way ... still, felt like we had as good a chance of ending it right there as trying our luck in OT.
