The Mattural
Who cares, what would this team do in the playoffs vs good teams? Embarrass us even more.
Falconsfan567
The Atlanta Falcons just got screwed with no lube. I am now fully convinced that the NFL fixes games. There's no way on God's green earth you call watch this game and tell me that it was officiated fairly. Its total ********. The Atlanta Falcons got called for so many terrible penalties and the Bucs got called for nothing. Totally sad. NFL only cares about the money. Not the Atlanta Falcons nor their fans. USAF HART
Except for the fact that your division record means nothing in the NFL. This isn't college. If we finish with the best record in our division, we win the division. Come on man...

coastiemike
Yep. We should forfeit the rest of our games, send a letter to the NFL advising such, and wait for the draft. ******* moron.

ZoneOne01
Really not trying to see this team get embarrassed in the playoffs again.
Ghosts of Glanville
Haven't even played Carolina yet. This division is far from settled. Welucked out in the Giants game, this one balanced it out.
Atlantafan21
The sky is falling ...the sky is falling..... Please stop with stupid threads like this..... It was a bad loss but we are still 6-26-2, after struggling the past 4 weeks against bottom dwellers(saints excluded because of how they're currently doing). I just hope we don't see a collapse with games against Carolina(2), Vikes, and Colts still left.

DonDaLuvMaker
If the Falcons can either win more games than the Panthers, or tie their record and sweep them are the only ways to win the division.Oh, and if the Panthers lose most of the division games they have left and both them and the Falcons are somehow tied record wise and win more division games. AF89
No way we catch them in the standings with our other games without a rash of injuries. The only way we win the division is to get hot and sweep them. Don't think a split does it.
HotLantaFalcon
The sky is falling ...the sky is falling..... Please stop with stupid threads like this..... It was a bad loss but we are still 6-2as the team stands right now I think a good comparison would be to a baseball pitcher who is 8-0 with a 20.43 ERA
PensacolaFalcon
Pretty sure the penalties were evenTBPenalties (Number-Yards) 8 - 43ATLPenalties (Number-Yards) 11 - 124Not even close and there were some major BS calls made at critical times in the game that all went in favor of TB. opensource01
So you want the Falcons to make the playoffs, get embarrassed in the first game, have TD keep his job, and spend another season with a pop warner quality offensive line and no depth at any position? TheRealGritz
I am more pissed that we lost to give the Saints hope, who are sitting at 4-4, and now only two games behind us. . . Thanks Giants and Falcons. . . thanks! There is no guarantee we can field a competitive team against any team from here forward with the way we played against WAS and now against Tampa Bay. . . The chickens are coming home to roost. Sorry to be negative Nancy Debbie downer, pessimistic Pat, but I am just confused by the product we put on the field today. How are we playing this much undisciplined football? 4 turnovers (3 before the half and one, I think two, in the redzone) . . . . and inconsistent in running the ball i.e. way too much passing for Matt Ryan imho
FalconFanSince1970
Have to settle for a wild card Could be right. I believe most NFCS divisions were won with a 4-2 or better record. I believe we have the only 3-3 division but could be wrong. 'll take a 9-7 wildcard, get hot, get rest scenario. Honestly I prefer that.
