hjerry
William Moore - DB - FalconsFalcons SS William Moore (groin) has been ruled out for Week 8.Moore plays the Kam Chancellor role in coach Dan Quinn's Seahawks-style system, primarily aligning in the box but also taking on tight ends in pass coverage. Moore's loss upgrades the fantasy outlook for Bucs players. Oct 30 - 1:38 PMLeonard Hankerson - WR - FalconsLeonard Hankerson (hamstring) is out for Week 8 against the Buccaneers.Hankerson didn't practice this week and was always a long shot to play on Sunday. Rookie Justin Hardy could see his first action this week with HankTime sidelined. Veteran Roddy White will also be asked to play a bigger role. emc008
I'm so tired of our defense being compared to the Seahawk's.Especially due to our inability to cover old, outdated TE's, and some players who have career high days against us.... Just gets very old.
1989Fan
It should say ' Moore tries to play Kam Chancellors role......"But yeah, the comparison is getting stale now.

Lornoth
Especially due to our inability to cover old, outdated TE's, and some players who have career high days against us.... Just gets very old.Nah, doesn't matter how good we are; the Hawk's defense isn't all that great this year either. The point is it isn't the "Kam Chancellor" role, it's not like he's the first guy to play the position. I wish people would just learn what the different positions of our scheme are, instead of repeating "Michael Bennett role" or "Kam Chancellor role", or "Richard Sherman role". We aren't the Hawks, we're the Falcons. It's as much the "William Moore" role as it is Chancellor's.

hjerry
Bucs list Vincent Jackson (knee) as doubtfulVincent Jackson (knee) is listed as doubtful for Week 8 against the Falcons.Despite the pessimistic injury-report tag and multiple media reports that V-Jax won't play on Sunday, coach Lovie Smith wouldn't rule him out. "[if] a veteran player wakes up Sunday morning and says, 'I'm ready to go' and trainers say he's ready to go, we're going to let him go," Smith said. "That's why I don't rule guys out on Friday. He didn't have a broken leg. He doesn't have a concussion." It remains doubtful that Jackson will face the Falcons, but it does sound like he should return within the next few weeks.Source: ESPN.comOct 30 - 3:22 PMSeferian-Jenkins (shoulder) doubtful for Week 8Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Week 8 against the Falcons. He's practiced on a limited basis this week. With so many injuries to Tampa Bay's receiving corps it's a bit surprising Seferian-Jenkins didn't at least garner a questionable tag. Mike Evans will see an absolutely absurd workload if Seferian-Jenkins sits. Doug Martin would also take on a bigger role.Source: Greg Auman on TwitterOct 30 - 2:53 PM
thesouphead
Especially due to our inability to cover old, outdated TE's, and some players who have career high days against us.... Just gets very old.We are covering TEs better than the Seahawks this year. I think when I looked at the numbers the other day, we average giving up about 55 yards a game while they give up 75 or so. Romfal
I'm so tired of our defense being compared to the Seahawk's.it wont go away any time soon since their former DC is our HC and we run that exact scheme, to a infuriating stubbornness at times, I might add. Hashbrown3
If we even consider letting Evans off the LOS, i'll be pizzed. Or just line tru up on his butt all day long no matter where he's lined up.Crush the muscle hamster & lock down Evans and we good.

Herr Beast
To be honest, Moore and Hank are not that much of a loss in terms of quality but only in depth.
emc008
The Falcons cover tight ends better than the Seahawks does...check the numbers.Check the statement again and understand I was referring to Benjamin Watson of the New Orleans Saints. My post was not in reference to us being compared to the 'Hawks, but in reference to how it is getting old seeing players of lesser skill continually over-perform against our defense. *For example, Benjamin Watson, Brandon Weeden, Lance Dunbar, Jamison Crowder, etc... Lornoth
I keep hearing this bush it. The last time I looked they were top five in several defensive categories.Doesn't matter, you have to watch them. They're breaking right at the worst times. There's a reason a lot of the SB winners have a defense that isn't the best, but gets the stops when they need to; that's the most important part of having a good defense. You can play a good game, but if you always let the other team win on a late game drive, it doesn't help you much. Our D is the opposite, they might have a number of scoring drives during the game, but when it matters, they get the stop.

Their defense allowed fewer fourth quarter points than ours.
