We Have Offensive Issues, But

Recommended Posts

We won back to back Offensive Player of the Month awards???

That sounds down right scary. If we actually get it together (and with this improved defense) we could surprise everyone and go to the SB this year?

Just had make a thread to point this out specifically since it seems like the "In" thing to do is to point out our offensive woes. Figured I'd point out that despite that we've had the Player of the Month award on a Falcons jersey.

I wouldn't call it offensive "woes". I do think there is room for improvement but we also do not give opposing defenses enough credit. I do expect the offense to be clicking better as early as this week.

Many fans here can't handle a few bumps in the road. They have no stomach for the NFL they just think they do. The reality is if we go into the Bye having won at least 1 of the next 2 games (we should win both) and we stay healthy we will almost certainly get another shot in January.

I'd like to see Ryan as Nov. offensive player of the month. And Beasley as defensive player of the month.

I really would not care which defensive player it is, it can be Kroy Bierman for heaven's sake, as long as we have defensive player of the month I would love it.

The offense is slumping a bit right now, but it's amazing to see all of the complaints over a unit ranked top 5 in yards and points scored. Recency bias is strong on here.

To be clear, I'm not referring to the OP specifically...just saying.

Stats can be padded from 3 early games and make units look great..... It should not be amazing to see the complaints but quite normal considering the slumping offense....quite frankly, "slumping" does not really epitomize what is really going on IMO of course.... Any person can see that our offense is not "slumping" but totally inept, confused, and out of sync (minus the running game, for which I am so excited to see that we finally have that after 3 years of a total piss-poor rushing attack)

We definitely have issues in all three phases, but I'm lovin the 6-1. I'll take it. Thank you. Offense just need to run a little more. Like the first four games.

I will be the rebel. I am thinking chuck that thing until it feels right again with a side of no-huddle.

Fortune favors the bold.

You could say they were padded by the 3 early games, and I could say that they were hurt by the last 3 games. Put them together and it's still top 5. The whole body of work counts.

I'll still take a slumping Matty Ice into the superbowl with the way this team is winning....dang right. It's a team like ours that can win it all ugly. Ryan has busted his azz for yrs ,only to

come up short of expectations. This team is winning again, unlike the last 2 yrs of Matt doing it all under a crumbling o-line. We can complain all we want of perfection and how it

should be, but don't let this team of ours fool you......Dan has us winning again with dedication and hard work. I love this as a Falcon fan.

Indeed, I was really trying to say how many of us fans are worried not about "stats" but about how off our offense looks.
