4dabirds
What if Matt Bryant makes that FG and the OC runs Freeman at the 1 and the Falcons score? The score for the most part ends 20 -7. Would all of you who are upset with the sloppy win be feeling better? Of course, none of this is relevant, because those scores only mean that the Titans could have went to the air (in order to catch up) and "What If" they actually scored a couple of TD's and the Falcons lose by one point. I'll bet you that none of us would be happy then. Maybe sometimes things happen for a reason. While this game and the 2 before it were ugly, they all serve as something for the Falcons to learn from. The O, D and special teams have contributed to some bad performances, and yet the Falcons are 6-1. I'm not going to make excuses for this team, but I will say that this is a team that has had a lot of turnover (just look at the OL and D) on its roster. There is almost an entirely new coaching staff that features new coordinators. The OL was assembled the week leading up to the 1st regular season game. New players have been brought in, existing players had to conform to a new system. All of these things have happened in such a short amount of time, and yet the Falcons are 6-1. I know "They haven't played anybody good", but "What IF" they had? Could you say with certainty that had the Falcons played a Green Bay or Arizona already, that they'd of lost? I can't. I'm not trying to tell anyone how to act (because I simply don't give a shyt how any of you act), but instead of looking to criticize how things appear on the surface, look a little deeper and you'll see that a huge transition was made, and fortunately the Falcons have beaten some average teams in the process of it. Also, this team has luck on its side, and that is a good thing, because luck has been known to propel teams to a championship from time to time. Being mad because the team isn't more dominate is kind of silly, because the Falcons don't have dominate talent. However they are playing with passion. Worrilow's Int was awesome yesterday and came at a much needed time.

PokerSteve
I also hate the "what if" game, especially if it's used as an excuse to troll fans who are critical of the team. We all know there have been a lot of changes on the roster, coaching staff, scheme, etc. Nobody is expecting all the problems to be instantly solved, but changes can't be used as a blanket excuse for poor play or bad play-calling. Every team makes many changes every year. You're not a better fan because you have the attitude you do or because you make threads like this, trust me. atlantaprodj
What if we'd played the Ravens in Superbowl 47? I do see myself as having a better attitude and being a better fan. You also saw right through my ploy to troll fans who are being critical. You're so ******* smart. For your information it was merely an observation, and not meant to offend or tell anyone how they should feel. I think I pointed that out. So take it for what it's worth, or not. Also, just because you make the replies that you do, doesn't mean people think you are someone great either, trust me.
