I want to disagree but we were a feel good story until Roddy started crying.

Plus i noticed there is a concerted effort sometimes to get Roddy the ball. It doesn't seem natural at times.

And for the record im a big Roddy fan. Best Falcons WR ever...

Concerted effort? I can't say that I see that myself. I'd even say that his targets seem low in comparison to your average "#2 receiver" around the league.

This whole blame it on Roddy thing seems ridiculous to me if I'm being honest. Roddy isn't responsible for the bad snaps by the center, the falcons being second in the league in drops, or the stupid turnovers and several other miscues by our offense as a whole besides Devonta.

But don't let the facts get in the way of a Tatf conspiracy theory.

I love seeing him catch some balls as much as the next guy but ever since Roddy complained about not wanting to just block our offense has looked bad. I know Ryan's play has been off as well but do you think Roddy caused some locker room / coach drama that has us in a funk?

NO! I don't think there's any correlation at all --- what I'd be more concerned about, is the animated conversation that JJ & MR2 were having on Sunday, after a 3 and out --- they were all sitting on the sideline, and it was like JJ was doing most of the talking, and Ryan & Shanny were mostly ignoring him, and looking at their I-Pad at the previous plays. Anybody else see that? Never seen that happen before, between those two, at least, not to that extent --- makes you wonder if there's some kind of friction going on --- I hope not! Hopefully, it was just frustration from not making the plays they usually make...

See...this is how rumors get started.

LINK? Time stamp? When did this happen?

Im talking about how the flow of the game is. Its like there was a rhythm in the first few games that is missing. I watch the last few games and it seems like Roddy is getting targets in weird spots that Devonta would run, or Julio would get on the outside. No link, just my opinion bro

Titans have a very good pass defense and Ryan struggled. Did no one see their coverage? They also have 20 sacks as a team we didn't give up one. Ryan had a 100 passer rating against the Saints but fumbles cost us that game. No one likes to point out that our D was lights out this week. Sure we struggled but we never let them win. When your offense is off hope for your D to win. When your D is off hope your offense can pull it out. This team hasnt peaked yet. Rather they peaked in January than October.

I can take it or leave it with Roddy...bottom line is he is only a positive if we use him more, use all the receivers on the field, spread the wealth, keep teams thinking! & BTW, I felt the change with this team was the blocked punt in NO, how do you let that happen AGAIN in there? We'll get over it!

Is it that. Or could it be that teams had 4 games of film on us to watch and find our tendencies? I'll go with the latter.

Look we already have as many wins this season as we had all of last year, chill the phuck out people, were 6-1 and are only half a game out of first place in the NFC South! Yeah I know the Titans only have 1 win this season but their defense is dam good (#3 Overall Defense) especially their pass defense, there's a reason their DC **** LeBeau has been a coordinator for over 40 years in the NFL, he's damed good at stopping teams from gaining yards and scoring, plus we were playing on the road against a team that came to play Sunday, Wisenhunt is a good coach whose coached in the Superbowl and he had his team fired up and ready to battle us on Sunday! This is a great time for Falcons fans, I can't believe we are looking this dam good after only 7 games in Dan Quinns first year as our Head Coach! I'm so excited at what the future will bring to our fanbase, our city, and our state we finally have a coach (DQ) who plays guys who are actually producing on the field and in practice regardless of their draft position and/or the size of their salary! We finally have a running game again, Freeman is becoming a Superstar in the league he is already a elite running back and to think that idiot Smith sat him on the bench for most of the season last year in favor of Quicksand Jackson. I do have to say Matt Ryan hasn't looked him self so far this season he's turning the ball over way too much and his accuracy is not up to his usual standards. Considering Roddy White's age and his salary vs. his production he just needs to shut the phuck up and block or do whatever else the staff wants him to do and just be glad he's on a 6-1 team and if that's a problem for him then we need to trade his worthless can't get open azz while there's still some value for him.

You wouldn't. Knowing how the sport works has never been your thing. It is obvious to anyone who is not you.

LOL....dude what a lame remark. So all of sudden, Julio missing practice shows up on the field and is the reason why Matt is shaky? If anything Matt forces the ball to Julio.

edit: Any and everyone KNOWS we need to run the ball. Apparently your knowledge is extremely limited about what's happening on the field.

Did

Best receiver in falcons history until they drafted Julio.................................He EARNED the right to confront Shanahan........The BEST receivers ALL demand the ball and have a edge about them....

Did people not see what Hardy did this weekend in Dallas? First he gets in a fight with the special teams coach then he gets in a fight with the teams vocal leader. That's a locker room cancer. Roddy is a team leader who wants to contribute more. Sure it was blown out of proportion but it isn't blowing up the team.
