Our Offense Was Running Smooth Until Roddy Complained.

The only reason why people don't want to blame Roddy, is because he has been with the Falcons for 10 years and he is a FALCON FOR LIFE. Yeah right, he will be with the Jaguars by next year. Just like how you guys thought Hawley was a Falcon for life or Mike Smith for that matter, Roddy White is nothing more than extra baggage on the offense.

Could you imagine how effective the team would be if they used Julio, Hankerson, Williams, Weems and Hester when he comes back to their fullest? Could you imagine Tamme and Moeki being a focal point as well? Roddy is a wanna be number 1 who needs to be on another team.

Julio got pissed off after that interception to Coleman because he told Matt Ryan, **** the other options, GIVE ME THE BALL. Why not? The man is almost unstoppable. If the Falcons show they are trying to go to Julio, that opens up everything else. Freeman gets his carries, Tamme gets open, WIlliams gets open.

I love seeing him catch some balls as much as the next guy but ever since Roddy complained about not wanting to just block our offense has looked bad. I know Ryan's play has been off as well but do you think Roddy caused some locker room / coach drama that has us in a funk?

I think it's more like after 4 games worth of tape teams figured out where the weak link was in pass protection on the line and how to defend our quick passing game.

Julio missing practice has probably been a bigger issue. The offense goes through him and Devonta. When he's not practicing, the timing is going to be off. We played one game well without big production from Julio and that was against the Texans, and in that game we pulled everyone in the 3rd quarter. (I know 90 yards and a TD is hardly anything to sniff at, but he's been off)

There are a lot of factors. New offensive scheme and blocking scheme, uncertainty at center, especially with the snaps.

Crazy. Now if MR was forcing the ball to Roddy, then I'll say you have a point. But since he's not even looking Roddy's way (even when he's open), I say that this is hogwash.

Actually Roddy was just bringing to light a problem before it showed on the field. If Roddy is not touching the ball at least 4 times a game ball distribution is not where it needs to be.

I am starting to wonder how balanced our practices have been since JJ has been injured. Freeman seems to have won the lottery and not to take away from his talent but he gets a lot of help.

The reason people don't blame Roddy is do to the fact that you have to be the type of ****** who thinks WWE is real wrestling, lick the windows on the short bus, and be an overall **** wit to be believe Roddy saying, "of course I want the ball more" on the radio has systematically unraveled our entire offense.

Yep...LOL...I love this thread..LOL...cause yall know Roddy talked that the absolute worst time to Sirius and then tried to clean it up in the AJC....using expletives...LOL...

Roddy's just so dumb. In all likelihood his comments have little to nothing to do with our offensive slump, but he's dumb as heIl and talked when it was so unnecessary

I want to disagree but we were a feel good story until Roddy started crying.

Plus i noticed there is a concerted effort sometimes to get Roddy the ball. It doesn't seem natural at times.

And for the record im a big Roddy fan. Best Falcons WR ever...

See...this is how rumors get started.

LINK? Time stamp? When did this happen?
