Gotta Win The Division....if Season Ended Today (Newsflash - It Doesn't) - This Would Be The Playoffs

Carolina still has GB, @NO, @NYG, and @DAL on Thanksgiving, when Romo will be back as QB (and if he hasn't been suspended, Hardy will be uber-motivated vs his old team). Going 2-2 or even 1-3 in those four games isn't implausible.

i don't think ATL can sweep the Panthers, but i do think they can split. So there's a chance of winning the South. But i think ATL has to have a better record than CAR when they meet in Charlotte.

yeah, you were more confident than that -

Since your memory needs refreshing I said the "Falcons won't lose." It was my opinion that the Falcons wouldn't lose to the Saints because the Falcons are the clear cut better team. Little did I know that it was going to be Katrina Bowl 2.0. Had I known that I never would have made the comments. But not once did I utter the phrase "The Falcons can't lose to the Saints." I still believe the Falcons are the clear cut better team and would win more times than not. But I don't even know why I'm here trying to justify an opinion to you. It's petty that you can't let it go.

I don't want to start the playoffs on the road. That said, I think we can do better against the Giants than we did under the last coaching staff.

The thing that gives me the most confidence is that we run the ball and we stop the run. Those two things generally travel well in the playoffs. Even if the weather is bad, I think we can line up and run the ball.

I listen to Giants talk radio all the time up here. The general consensus among Giants fans is that they felt like that team was really talented, but underachieved during the regular season. They fill like this years team is playing with a talent depict. They patched together an offense line this off season just like we did. The Right side of the LOS has been an issue for them all year. Their talent behind OBJ is average at best. Eli's accuracy on short passes, which that offense is built on, has been off for a season and 7 games.

No, I don't want to play the Giants on the road. That said, if that is what we have to do, I think we can give them a game.
