The Leading Rusher In The Nfl

Recommended Posts

how do we have the #1 RB, #2WR both with a lot of TDs & the #3 QB and the offense is still so flat?

Because that #3 ranking for Ryan is misleading. He's only #3 in passing yards. However, if they were ranked based on passer rating, then it would look a lot different.

Well, that translates into the #4 scoring offense in the NFL. Let me repeat that for the negative-Nancy, Ryan bashing crowd - we currently have the 4th highest scoring offense in the NFL at 27.6 points per game. So I'd say the rankings you stated are pretty much telling an accurate story. People aren't focusing on the big picture; only on the fact that Ryan hasn't been as sharp with his throws this year as he usually is most years.

And that is fine, as long as we keep winning. IMO Matt can have a crappy season, as long as there is a W at the end of the game.

You are right in the Ryan is #25 in QB passer rating but that can also be miss leading

in that at least 10 of the QBs ahead of him have thrown less than 1/2 the number of passes he has thrown

ie the QB with the highest rating 150 (NFL.com) is Clemens of SD with 5 completions out of 6 attempts

Matt Moore of Mia is #2 with a 118.8 who is 1 for 1

My guess is that many fans have become spoiled watching Ryan pick apart defenses. My second guess is that we will all see Ryan return to "form" when he finally feels comfortable with the new scheme.

It ain't easy moving from Mularkey to Koetter to Shanny's WCO.

It's incredibly frustrating that our OC doesn't understand how hard we are to stop when we are truly balanced. All that pass happy stuff is playing into the opponents hands.

What makes it even worse is that I keep seeing teams every Sunday have no issue running the ball more than we do.
