raysnill1
how do we have the #1 RB, #2WR both with a lot of TDs & the #3 QB and the offense is still so flat?
Mr.11
how do we have the #1 RB, #2WR both with a lot of TDs & the #3 QB and the offense is still so flat?Because that #3 ranking for Ryan is misleading. He's only #3 in passing yards. However, if they were ranked based on passer rating, then it would look a lot different.
RandomFan
how do we have the #1 RB, #2WR both with a lot of TDs & the #3 QB and the offense is still so flat?Well, that translates into the #4 scoring offense in the NFL. Let me repeat that for the negative-Nancy, Ryan bashing crowd - we currently have the 4th highest scoring offense in the NFL at 27.6 points per game. So I'd say the rankings you stated are pretty much telling an accurate story. People aren't focusing on the big picture; only on the fact that Ryan hasn't been as sharp with his throws this year as he usually is most years. Gumby5
It's a good thing we played Jackson more last year. Otherwise, we would still be playing Smitty ball. Congrats to Devonta.

IMO Matt can have a crappy season, as long as there is a W at the end of the game.
xskyx
But we should have drafted Gurley. That Gurley kid is looking good as well.Freeman was a while lot cheaper so we win
Dr. Billings
Why did we start Coleman at the start of the season? Freeman is making a believer out of me.
Desert_Falcon
Why did we start Coleman at the start of the season? Freeman is making a believer out of me.Coleman was cleared from his injury first. Freeman wasn't cleared until a week or two later. Really had nothing to do with skill and more with availability. However, if they were ranked based on passer rating, then it would look a lot different. You are right in the Ryan is #25 in QB passer rating but that can also be miss leading in that at least 10 of the QBs ahead of him have thrown less than 1/2 the number of passes he has thrownie the QB with the highest rating 150 (NFL.com) is Clemens of SD with 5 completions out of 6 attemptsMatt Moore of Mia is #2 with a 118.8 who is 1 for

My guess is that many fans have become spoiled watching Ryan pick apart defenses. My second guess is that we will all see Ryan return to "form" when he finally feels comfortable with the new scheme. It ain't easy moving from Mularkey to Koetter to Shanny's WCO.

ZoneOne01
It's incredibly frustrating that our OC doesn't understand how hard we are to stop when we are truly balanced. All that pass happy stuff is playing into the opponents hands. What makes it even worse is that I keep seeing teams every Sunday have no issue running the ball more than we do. Sidecar Falcon
Free lost 80 yards in dumb penalties.Lmao Funny how the trolls conveniently leave out that fact. They can't face the reality that as of right now Freeman is better than Gurley.
Karst41
Freeman is Beasting it Up!80 yards ahead of the nearest competitor. (Hampster)But I look at it this way; if you lead the NFL on any given week at anyposition, that is just plain good.and for all you Gurley appoligist,,,,,,,,,,,,,TOSSERS,,,,the lot of ya!
