mark0demi
He was a massive FA bust for the Dolphins. Remember wanting him out of college in the 3rd.Probably just a depth move, although this does have me wondering about Durant.reading the same alert got me thinking the same, is there underlining concern for durant. I hope not
Dirtybird56
shocked that Durant is injured!!! that never happens!Blows man. We need him
raysnill1
so Derek Akunne must not be showing anything. I actually liked him a little in preseason, thought he was pretty quick
CrimsonFalcon
Worrilow is a captain...
Malachore
One Dolphins source told the Miami Herald that WLB Philip Wheeler became "complacent" after ex-GM Jeff Ireland signed him to a five-year, $26 million contract. In other words, he mailed it in after getting paid. Ireland also happened to guarantee the entirety of Wheeler's $5 million salary for 2014, making him very difficult to cut just one year into the deal. Wheeler was a missed tackle machine in 2013, and was regularly attacked successfully in pass coverage.Source: Miami Herald Sun, Mar 2, 2014 04:19:00 PMLOL seems like he'll fit right in
Ezekiel 25:17
BYE BYE WorrilowAnd that is what I thought of first, not that he would replace Durant like some have mentioned...

paulitik
Dude was a bust in Miami.. but we'll see.He USED to be good in coverage until he arrived in Miami where he was terrible. idk what happened to him. He'll be good depth.Might be that Miami happened to him, That team is a mess. Not counting my chickens, but it could work out.
Ezekiel 25:17
Depth if nothing else. Bartu wasn't the answer, it seems.Yeah, he seems more like the "question" instead... lol
rollo lawson
At this point in his career, Wheeler is an ILB. Similar to how Mike Peterson moved inside towards the latter part of his career. Was one helluva stop gap!
Falconjerome
Buddy of mine at work (huge Dolphins fan), just told me that he was horrible there and they cut him, went to Oakland and killed it and made pro bowl that year then Dolphins signed him to a big money 5yr contract and he stunk it up so bad that they benched him and then finally released him where he went to SF and then they cut him as well. Beast-N-Da-Sheetz
If anybody is going to replace Worrilow, it should be Bradford. Where the heII is he?
Falcons24Hawks
This has nothing to do with Worrilow, most likely has to do with Durant. Perhaps some help for TE coverage, idk. Idk too much about Wheeler
SyCo
If anybody is going to replace Worrilow, it should be Bradford. Where the heII is he?He's been busy being worse than worrilow

FalconJim
Hope he's got something left in the tank, at 30 yrs. old. But at least he has the size (6'4", 245) to (hopefully) cover the big tight ends we have to play! Seems like he's been hot & cold with the different teams he's been with. But, I think Quinn can get him coached/fired up, to where he'll be a contributor on our defense, at some point, otherwise I don't think he would've signed him ---
papachaz
in all honesty cutting hawley was stupid considering how bad Stone playedbut it was DOLLARS that made that choice really. Couldn't pay joe 3+ million to sit on the bench and hang around 'just in case'. The snapping problems Stone's had this year, weren't that much of an issue last year honestly. Did trying him at LG really mess him up THAT bad?but in all seriousness, Worrilow isn't going anywhere because they signed an old slow used to be good but got paid and got lazy has been linebacker
sharky
Wheeler will be re-energized coming back home. Can't wait for him to catch up to speed with this defense. Very good signing, just watch and see.
