RING OF HONOR
Bottom line is..sometimes you have bad games..that's the nature of any sport..without 2 of those fumbles....in which it looked like we were headed for scores...and with more running from Freeman...we are not even having these conversations...everyone is talking about being 6-0...1 loss doesn't change the outlook of this team..or the improvements we have made...I for one would rather be 5-1 than 1-5...there's something to look forward to..most of us are trashing our team...rather than celebrating where we are. are there holes? sure there are...but I would rather enjoy this.... than be talking about what position we will be drafting in next year..and that's where we've been the last few years..So i say...enjoy....get on board for the ride..because everyone who reads this knows one universal fact....we have already exceeded expectations..most pundits had us at 1-5 or 2 -4 at this point. I don't know what this season holds...but it feels good to be winning for a change...and FYI...1 draft and one free agency year is not going to fix this team..ENJOY THE REST OF THE YEAR AND THE PLAYOFFS. falconfansince66
I don't know why so many have gotten on a Super Bowl tangent this year. After all, #1 - we are in a rebuild mode with a new coaching staff. #2 - This coaching staff has gotten some awesome play out of players that would probably never be considered by other NFL teams. #3 - The weaknesses we have had are mostly still there. Despite all of this, we are at 5-1 and I'm willing to bet before the season started, nobody would have guessed we'd sweep the NFL East. I still think despite the rebuilding and the decent schedule we have, we will be in the playoffs but I don't see us getting far with the existing holes we still have to fill. Addressing those things in the offseason this next year, and I think we can be going to the Super Bowl in another 1-2 years. We have a great foundation of coaching in place and they have been getting great play out of a bunch of scrubs. Be patient, love that we're turning this ship around and support this team! Because there really isn't any point in making the playoffs if we aren't gunning for a super bowl. We can run, stop the run, and we've got an elite WR and QB tandem. Anything can happen in the postseason and this team can do things they haven't been able to do since our last trip to the playoffs. I'm not saying we're gonna win the SB, but us fans talking about it isn't so crazy. The players need to be gunning for a championship every year and we've got a winning team that hasn't reached its potential yet.

I sure wish for it but we have some huge glaring holes. We can't stop passes in the middle because of a poor safety/LB corps. We have a HUGE problem at center not being able to consistantly get MR2 the football without him having to concentrate on the snap instead of who is getting open on their matchups. If this becomes the norm, we'll be dead meat to Green Bay or even Arizona.

PHALCONABERNATHY
Well at least we don't have to hear the garbage from the ragin' Cajuns. They know they suck and they know this was 2/2 Steve Gleason bowls they needed to beat us. If I were them I'd bring him to every game if he could make it. Flip Flop
This team need a ton of improvement to be considered a Super Bowl team. That was a desperate 1-5 team. They we charged up for the game and it showed. Atlanta had a hard time handling them for the entire first quarter. Playoff teams are going to start fast. You cannot afford to start flat against a team playing desperate. Now imagine this ATL team against the Packers and the Packers are playing with the same energy as the Saints were on Thursday. This season is already better than I hoped. Im not ready to drink any playoff kool aid yet.
