Our mistakes does not excuse dirty officiating. There is misses calls and them there are what we had last night. It destroys the integrity of the game. Yes, we played bad & deserved to lose,but if goodell wants to protect the integrity of the shield so bad, it shouldn't be accepted. Anyone who thinks that game ,wasnt called that poorly, is just a blind idiot. It was a disgrace.

This. The two aren't mutually exclusive. One can acknolwedge that both the teams AND the refs influenced the outcome.

And it's not that much of a stretch to those of us who've bet against the spread in night games over the years. Your best bet is almost always to go against the public, and the refs usually help that outcome by influencing a few plays that can tip it in that favor.

Call it coincidence if you want, but there is a lot of money flying around for night games.
