middlegatv
Strike 1. Someone needs to get the message to him that this rivalry needs to be taken serious. Smith never got it. Richt never got it vs UF.I sent him a tweet (don't know if he'll ever read it) telling him 5-0 don't mean crap if we don't beat the Saints because I got the same impression he didn't understand that the Saints aren't just another game. Maybe he needs to hear some more of that.

middlegatv
Quinn just got his first HC loss from the Aints... I think he gets it now and will remember this.Losing is bad... losing to the Aint's, the Panties and the Tampoons is unacceptable from a fans perspective!I wonder if he'll be like WTF? when he hears all the backlash tomorrow like we're 1-5 instead of 5-1. Blank and Dimitroff better explain the Saints game is some serious sh#t to us Falcons fans.

MoFalconsFan56
I think stone failed with the fumble and matt Ryan. Not as much on Quinn. Teco failed tonight too. Quinn didn't fumble those balls. We were marching right down the field on em. Momentum swung the way of the saints after taking advantage of our mistakes just as any other team in the nfl would have done. We shot ourselves in the foot tonight guys. I'm already over it and on to next week.

And not adjusting his defense to cover Ben Watson. I mean, the guy was wide open most of the freaking night. I can understand starting the game not really being worried about him, but after he burned you several times, you gotta take notice of the guy and do something. I Even Bleed Red
Fu(k the Falcons. I have no problems with us losing a game or 2. But not like this. Not to the Saints. Not on National TV. Not when we had a chance to put an end to their season, rather than revive it. They always find a way to get a big emotional win out of us when they need it the most. They always find a way to make us their b!tch. 14-5 is not acceptable.I can't stand the Saints. And we alway lose to those a$$holes in spots where we had a chance to come up huge. Fu(k the Falcons. Fu(k the Falcons.14-5 is not acceptable but we are not 14-5 against the sewer rats we are 49-44. This rivalry didn't start the moment Drew Brees showed up like the taints want everyone to believe. This was always a rivalry. Think of it this way, we had a 2% chance of going undefeated this season, we just lost on national TV to a hated divisional rival. More important, Coach Quinn just lost, for the first time as a head coach, on national TV to a divisional rival he didn't take serious. This won't happen again. Blank and Dimitroff better explain the Saints game is some serious sh#t to us Falcons fans. There was a moment near the end of the game where he showed some anger on his face.... Somebody send him the sideline shot of Payton chomping gum and that sheet eating grin after that 4th down penalty and subsequent TD and he'll get it! If he can accept that kind of crap then he's made a serious rookie HC mistake.... Payton and Ryan had their way with him tonight. And I'll say one more thing before I calm down....He left time outs on the clock last week near the end of the first half which probably cost us a TD... burned way too many seconds that were wasted! He pulled a Smitty with clock management.I hope he's learning... rant off!

GeorgiaBoyz
How do we get 2 coaches in a row, that doesn't get this?2 coaches in a row that don't get it? Dude this was his first game wtf!? You're comparing apples to oranges. 😂😂😂
GeorgiaBoyz
Shadup. Falcons are New Orleans Saints wannabes. Try so hard to be like Big Brother and fail everytime.NO fans are out of hiding now. Oh my god. 😂😂😂
GoFalcons22
He didn't even take the game seriously. Let alone the rivalry. 5-0 was cute, but he's 0-1 in games that matter now. For me that's the stats that matter. If he's 0-4 or 1-3 against the Saints by the end of next year I'm done with him. I'm sick of losing to the **** Saints. AF89
We'll see who's laughing when you get destroyed out of the playoffs, after we sweep you in our second home game. We get a sweep and a top 10 pick. Win winThat's awesome enjoy your slide back into mediocrity sport. You can watch the Brees/Peyton Era on your DVR as your franchise implodes with Aaron Brooks and Jim Haslett 2.0 edition. I know I'll enjoy it. Tandy
Urm Falcons are 4-13 since Payton. We own yall. Swept us one year and think yall are our equal...LOLThat's wierd, because Matt Ryan as a starter has won 5 games against the Saints.
WPGFALCONSFAN
So we are really blaming this loss on Quinn and him not getting this rivalry?! lmao wow that's a stretch people, I mean c'mon! The systems he has brought here has covered up many of our flaws but they simply got exposed tonight, plain and simple. Ever think we may just not have the talent in some areas? This is a work in progress, our defense was atrocious last year and our oline was in shambles, so what do you expect? The 72' Dolphins this year? The last person I'm worried about is Quinn

This is the nfl, guys shouldn't need extra motivation to play hard. Rivalry or not. Just seems silly that some are so willing to give a pass to the players and talk about Quinn 'not getting it'. I can chock Matt's bobble off the fullback as a fluke, but my center cant fumble a snap that badly. No **** way.As bad as Hawley was he never botched a snap that **** bad.
