The fix was in tonight, all the commentators picked us, always a bad sign. And when the Saints pulled Katrina 2.0 with the blocked kick (which should have been roughing the kicker.) I knew it was over. They were saying things about Sean Payton., it got the Saints emotional, We were flat on a short week, but no excuses, got to take a rest and come back fresh and motivated, its week 1 again against Tennessee....and we get another shot at these Saints in a few weeks.

Not a bad start to the season. This might just be the spark we need. I hate our first lost came against the aints but whatever!

You mean not a bad finish to the season?

We were exposed as a soft, weak, gutless team.

No lines. No lines on either side.

No heart, no desire, no spark when presented with an opportunity to bury our most hated rival.

No pride on a nationally televised game.

Can't cover a 40 year old journeyman TE.

OC only called just over a dozen run plays against the worst rush defense in the NFL.

Looks I was right after all. A 6-win season. If we keep this up, we won't win another game.

Yeah. I mean, I knew losses were going to come, I know every team has a bad game now and then, and I know this isn't a season-ender by any means.

But, getting embarrassed on national TV when we're finally getting some respect--against the Saints (again), no less--is really getting old. Hope Coach Quinn & staff shake 'em hard after this one.

We are 5-1. Our mistakes are correctable. Yes I am pissed off but the sky is not falling. We lost one game and some pride but we are still in position to achieve our goals. Playing perfect ball in October doesn't mean **** let't make sure we ball out in January because we WILL be there.

With a show of responses I can be certain there are few on this board that wouldn't have been happy with a. 5-1 start to the season. This one does sting because it is the Saints but with the character this team exhibits we will rebound . Should we have one minus the turnovers ? No doubt . Guys we are not in the middle of a Patriots dynasty where winning is commonplace . We are going to bounce back from this and move forward.

No....I was right. We have shored up 5 areas, we still need to work on two. The two areas I mentioned specifically were covering TE/RB and getting pressure on the QB.

We don't need to be the best team now. There is no trophy for that. We need to keep up our solid work where we are good and improve in those last two areas. We are still running the ball and stopping the run. As long as that keeps happening your still in the fight.

Yeah. We REALLY stopped the run in the 4th quarter, when the Saints were trying to run out the clock. We suuure did stop the run all right!

10 yards up the field.
