Intellectually Honest
Many fans on these boards have been complaining that both groups don't show the Falcons love or they have a bias against the Falcons and there are articles and videos giving the team lot's of love. Why do they have constantly have articles on Quinn, Julio, and Ryan, or even Freeman if all the do is ignore or hate the Falcons?

Why do they have constantly have articles on Quinn, Julio, and Ryan, or even Freeman if all the do is ignore or hate the Falcons? You are right and it's not only ESPN and NFL.com. They have done feature segments and interviews over Julio jones , freeman and Ryan on fox and cbs pre game shows

dozer
Excerpt from articleFacing an explosive Falcons offense Thursday night will be another litmus test for Ryan's defense. Even if Julio Jones isn't 100 percent, offense coordinator Kyle Shanahan has displayed his knack for scheming receivers open. Devonta Freeman should be in for a huge game against a weak rush defense. Expect the dynamic back get the ball plenty on stretch runs, which have killed the Saints this season.
DirtybyrdGA
I'm sure that will arouse some fans that cry about the lack of love.
Francis York Morgan
Quinn is exciting, likeable, and interesting. I appreciate Smith for what he did but...let's not kid ourselves. He was a boring figure in media.

Qwiggs
Let's face it. This team is more exciting all around. You have Julio off to a tremendous start drawing a lot of attention. You have Roddy's comments from last week, and a few close wins so far this season. Combine that with the fact that our first games come against big market teams, it's no surprise that we are getting as much attention. Mekias
The Falcons are a story as long as we're undefeated and Julio and/or Freeman are threatening to break records. It won't take long for the shine to go off this new media toy and we'll be ignored again.
allknowing
we're the only game today and the saints are irrelevant so we get press
HASHBROWN3
Just like our fans, they too needed something to hold onto. And to not be disappointed in. Those extra things that tell you our team and players will be put into a position to succeed. They wanted to see some heart and to know that from a coaching standpoint, we can scheme & adjust with the more cerebral opponents.Just keep it up and we'll eventually win over even the harshest of critics. Falcons24Hawks
When they have a video of a guy walking around the city saying we dont have any fans and its the main feature of the espn page, yea I would say they are biased
Jesus
Well someone has to hype a Thursday night game between two not as popular as everyone else's teams. Come tomorrow the Falcons won't be so talked about.
Guest facelessman07
Because some fans expect Falcons coverage 24/7Anything less is unacceptable
likeriver
NFL and ESPN have secretly always loved the Falcons, but because we suck 90% of the time and choke away big games, they've had to hide their love from the public. Once we win the Super Bowl, they'll be showing 24/7 coverage of how the Falcons are the greatest team ever and Matt Ryan is elite and the most clutch QB in history. Tribal Chief
Tatf only search for the bad so they can have something to complain about. Most of the time they make themselves look foolish in the process
Finally
Many fans on these boards have been complaining that both groups don't show the Falcons love or they have a bias against the Falcons and there are articles and videos giving the team lot's of love. Why do they have constantly have articles on Quinn, Julio, and Ryan, or even Freeman if all the do is ignore or hate the Falcons? We have a game tonight. The only game until Sunday. All TNF teams get love at this time and especially from NFLN because they want everyone to watch. They are building a narrative. The undefeated Falcons facing the 80 percent prime time winning Brees who has only lost to the Falcons twice at home.... blah blah blah. The only thing you have proven is that you do not pay attention to how the media works. Don't get me wrong. I like a little media love from time to time but feast up because it won't last and Heaven forbid it is an upset tonight you will not want to turn on your TV tomorrow. Da Bird is Da Word
The Falcons have been getting more positive coverage lately by way of praise for Dan Quinn and hype fot our two explosive players in Julio and Freeman. The Falcons are a more exciting team to watch now.But then you see articles like USA Today's "Falcons are the most average 5-0 team ever", where the author writes:All of that remains, but the truth remains that their 5-0 record is undoubtedly the most deceptive in the NFL. And its not as though the Falcons have won any of those games convincingly. You'll also see that kind if rhetoric with many of the talking heads on air. It's mind boggling, really, that Atlanta is the only team getting flack for facing weak opponents yet they don't say anything about Carolina's weak schedule so far. That's where you see their agenda showing through.Having said all that, I do think it's time people realize these guys aren't gonna change their minds and that life's too short to be losing sleep over what a bunch of jack-offs have to say about their sports team. I just wanna keep winning.
