The RiseUp Avenger
I was going to post last night when I got home, but it was late and I was exhausted. On yesterday's game:I have to preface this by pointing out that this game of the 8 to 10 I am going to see this year, was one of the ones I was looking most forward to seeing because my late father was the biggest Redskins fan I ever knew. So to get to see his team play my team was special to me.I have a few thoughts:First and foremost, WE ARE THE NFC EAST CHAMPS!More importantly, we are 5-0 and leading our own division!yes it was a close game and yes it was a come from behind victory against a very spry Washington team, but to come away with a victory when the team wasn't its healthiest or playing its best was great. Sometimes good teams need games like that to become better teams.Even more impressive is that not only did we beat the Redskins, but we overcame some of the absolute WORST OFFICIATING I have EVER SEEN! I've played the dirty ref on a couple of Indy wrestling shows, and I've done a better job at BEING IMPARTIAL than the zebras in yesterday's game! That wasn't PI on Alford! Freeman scored that TD with 50 seconds, and they conveniently missed the Skins holding against the Falcons countless times! They were trying to screw us! So overcoming the Skins AND the refs was one **** of a accomplishment!Matt Bryant just had a bad game. He hasn't "hit a wall."What about Rowdy?! He came to play and had something to prove! That first pass he caught was HUGE! Even bigger still was the love and respect the crowd showed him by chanting "Roddy! Roddy! Roddy!" We love Roddy and we don't want him going anywhere! And IF we do go "all the way," even if his roll is limited in the gameplan, we want him right there with us if we win it all!Freeman is just a freaking beast running like a freight train! When we get past the next game, I think I'd be ok if they rested Julio a week or soAnd holy cow! How about that Defense! I've been down on Alford all yea, but ****! He came up huge on that pick six to end the game! Even though there were a lot of Skins fans in attendance, The Falcons faithful DID INDEED "RISE UP" when the team needed them to. Very proud of that! Its a short week and its Aints week! Let's beat the doors off those punkasses!RISE UP! Lets go 6-0!The RiseUp Avenger Edited October 12, 2015 by Riseup Avenger (JB Hendu)
