Quarterback
Matt looked off today and clearly was struggling. But, when it mattered the most and the game was on the line Matt Ryan was...Matt Ryan, and that's one of if not the most clutch QB's in the game when it's all on the line. There's only one QB in the game today I'd take over him and that's the most talented QB to ever take a snap...Aaron Rodgers. gazoo
Tom Brady has had several terrible games every year. He's had five or six 4 interception games.Matter of fact, Brady had a 4 interception game that resulted in a 31-0 loss to Buffalo in the Patriots 14-2 season that led to a Super Bowl win.If anyone every watched Joe Montana play against the Falcons, you saw him year in and year out have terrible games until the last drive, and then he'd step up and put a game winning drive together. This is what Matt Ryan does, even when he has an off game, sort of like we saw Rodgers, Manning, Luck, Brees and others have recently, you'll Notice Ryan steps up that last drive most of the time. coastiemike
I love Matt Ryan as much as anyone. But I am a realist. He sucked *** this game.2 picks. 1 fumble lostSorry but that's awful, don't be a homerYes he sucked today, but he's still the best QB we've ever had, and 28 or so their teams would take him, even with a **** game here or there. FalconsAirMiles
Matt Ryan 24/42 254 0 TD 2 INT 1 FumbleAaron Rodgers 19/30 241 2 TD 2 INT 1 FumbleRams might of had a chance to win the game if Nick Foles did not suck even worse

HEIST
I'm glad he made the game winning drive but we should not need a game winning drive to win that game. Defense and running game won us that game and Matt Ryan did his best to give it away.

coastiemike
Props for stepping up but he struggled today and that can't be overlooked.Yes he did. Everyone has a bad day at work. This was Ryan's but the TEAM still overcame and secured the win. I will take it and have a feeling we will see a very good performance by Ryan in four days. Csdabest
He has sucked this year compared to his normal self. We know hes better. He just need to play like he is. Stop trying to make julios contract worth every forced pass and spread it out.

Defense and running game won us that game and Matt Ryan did his best to give it away.Matt Bryant also did his part. And the defense giving up 60 yards in :30 seconds to allow it to go to OT did their part. If you are going to call one part of the team out for trying to give the game away, at least be fair about it. It's a team sport.

gazoo
Ryan had a bad game. Ryan has a 7 year 5 game history. Out of this history, he's had some bad games.Guess that is something. Else he has in common with all the hall of fame quarterbacks who also all had bad games.Perspective folks, that's the issue.

Ryan's turnovers were all on him, he's the best QB the Falcons ever had but if he plays a game like this in January it will be an early exit for the Falcons.
