DonDaLuvMaker
Freeman also does Tomlinson's(don't like calling him LT) td celebration.
gazoo
Comparing LT to Devonta Freeman, very interesting. I think when you have a young promising player it makes a lot more sense to compare him to an awesome veteran player at that position rather than a mediocre one. I was actually going to start a thread comparing LTs start to Freeman's earlier this week but decided against it. I do think these comparisons are valid. Tuggle'2
Ok ok ok!!! I just made myself all excited thinking about something. If Freeman can play as LT then Coleman gets to be Turner! Science!

Science!I would love that but I'd probably compare Coleman to AP or CJ right now. Maybe Murray with more speed.

DonDaLuvMaker
**** yes! He gets it!It is amazing how the Charger had such talent in their offensive backfield once upon a time.TomlinsonTurnerSprolesNeal (the best FB in football at the time)I think Tolbert came around the tail end of them in SD.What a backfield. gazoo
People need to understand the difference between comparing skill sets and early production to careers. I've noticed anytime I compare skill sets peop,e freak out on me under the false assumption I'm comparing each players careers.
paulitik
Ward is mini-Turner. He looks just like a shrunken Turner on the field.

Truth B Told (TRU)
I remember LT kept saying this offseason that DeMarco Murray would be a good pick up for Kyle Shanahan system. It's a good thing we didn't waste money and went with Freeman and Coleman

I do think these comparisons are valid.Im not comparing... These are LT words himself.... LT is comparing a young player to himself.I do think he have LT like traits.... The reason i hate comparing players to a legend is the young playr has not earned it... To me its disrespectful to do that to someone who has earned it .Thats why ive said i think Free is a LT type player... Meaning ... He is not LT... But he has that type skillset... Now what he does with it is all on free
